- Sa sobrang dami ng smartphones na available sa market ngayon, wala na tayong oras magresearch pa ng paisa isa sa lahat ng specs nila lalo na sa mga chipsets kaya minsan nakakalito kung alin nga ba ang mga okay at hindi okay na chipsets. Kaya sa video na 'to, aalamin natin kung ano ang mga sulit at hindi sulit na smartphone chipsets ngayong 2023!

Accurate yung sa Snapdragon 695, I was a bit disappointed nung mas maganda pa yung cam ng Poco X3 ko sa Poco X5 ko na bago. The difference is huge

This video gave me a fresh perspective on how to look at phones in general. Before, hanggang RAM, ROM, & price lang ako kung tumingin, but now you made me realize that a phone is also as good as its chipset, na dapat tingnan din natin ang capabilities nito and impact sa overall performance ng isang phone. You have a very timely video sir, especially for me, since naghahanap ako ngayon ng new phone around 15-20k and looking at the Y70 and the value it offers in performance, you actually ended my search and made me want to settle for the Y70. kaya sobrang recommended ko talaga mga 2nd hand flagships lalo na sa mga kulang sa budget. great build quality, great display, good camera, problema mo lang talaga battery. pero overall di ka na lugi para sa performance. gaya ng s20 ultra, 25k nalang yata ngayon, mas pipiliin ko pa kesa sa mga bagong phones ngayon na same price.

Realme 9 pro gamit ko, sd695, binili ko eto 1st week kalalabas palang ng phone, heavy gamer ako, di lang isa nilalaro at madalas charge at pag tulog ako un lang pahinga ng phone ko, tansya ko nasa 14-22hrs ko sya gamit kada araw, minsan kasi kahit tulog ako sadya kong iniiwan phone ko para mag grind sa nilalaro ko, gang ngayon wala pa naman akong problema, depende ata sa pag gamit yan, kung gamer ka✔ at kung pag pic or video mo dun ang ❌, sa gumagamit na yan kung ano kelangan nya.

2] MedaiTek Helio G9x series: bad thermals and not power efficient (4:04), though it is good for entry leve phones withn 10k budget. [still mas OK ang MTK dimensity kesa dito]

Came from Realme Q3s with 778G, it was a really great experience. So I really recommend phones with that processor.

I bought an Honor x9a because I am still using my Huawei GR5 since 2017. The design and the OLED display with 120hz is great. Wala man syang 4k or 2k video, but it is still worth it dahil sa durability nya. :)
For me I'll go tho honor x9a, video lang problem, pero ang hardware ng honor/huawei no problems, kaya sd 695 gamit kasi nag lagay sila ng Oled at 5100mah na battery para ma balance, for me ma's ok sa akin tung premium feels at looks nakakapag games naman sa sd695 sa thermal niya very goods. Depende nlng yn .
I am pretty happy with my snapdragon 888. S21 Ultra user here. Newly bought. I did in depth reviews since november 2022. whether to get s22 ultra or better yet the new s23 ultra. I was suprised that it doesnt have a huge gap when comparing the features.

For budget FPS pure gaming like CODM, PUBG, and soon to release Warzone Mobile go for Blackshark 4. Nasa around 18k+- nalang xa. Sa mga gusto ng may 2k Display plus OLED panel, go for Redmi K50 series. And hopefully, Sir Janus, ma review mo ung Iqoo Neo 7 with Dimensity 9000+ and yung Redmi K60 with Snapdragon 8+- Gen 1 :D

Had the Blackshark 4 for 2 years na but theres lots of consiquences when using this device. Bad Cameras, Magnetic Pop Up Triggers doesnt work after 6+ Months? (Jammed In Place), aftersales support outiside Metro Manila is the worst as Xiaomi's Service Center doesnt accept them anymore, Dirt getting inside the power button/fingerprint making it jammed in place and not work ( Mine got popped outside due to lots of accumulated dirt from daily use) and also the volume button seems to see the light of the day as its starting to get jammed also. Would recommend the phone if you plan to change phones every year but if not and does not plan to spend more for a device just to get it fix (Mines around 15k+ estimated repair price for new battery, pop up triggers and power button/fingerprint sensor) just dont.

About sa snapdragon 695 why would you expect 4k60 on a midrange smartphone anyways? I’d be happy to know and if i wasn’t wrong these snapdragon lineups from snapdragon 695 to snapdragon 732g was only enhanced for immersive gaming and plus sdm 695 has a midrange Kryo 660 cpu (ARM based) it’s instruction sets for architecture coding was only optimized for higher speeds and gaming why would you expect 4K60 on a phone that’s first classified as a midrange second it has a processor built for performance and gaming? I would humbly and happily to know ur opinion good sir :)) edit: I subscribed so you would notice and answer my question :DD
case and point of the video is getting the most value out of your money this period of 2023. not only do you get a good phone for gaming but also for taking pictures, no thermal throttle etc.
i personally have the redmi note 11 pro 5g and wished ive had seen this video sooner. ive bought it around 17k which i could have bought a poco x4 gt which is the same price range.
And who would want to watch 4k or 1440p videos on YT on a 1080 screen. 😂 Waste of bandwidth.

Honor X9A 5G's aesthetic almost got me. Thank you because I saw your videos where you consistently mention na ang SD 695 is not a good value for money. I'll probably wait for new units in the future ng Honor with better processors.

Kakabili ko lang ng Redmi Note 10 Pro snapdragon 732g. Ok nmn performance niya. Tsaka ok na ok cam. May 4k30fps siya both ata record tsaka video playback. Kaso walang ois sa recording. Pag 1080 lang meron. Hdr10 pa. Sulit na sulit.

i have honor x9a 5g that was SD695, habol ko lang is yung tibay ng phone at Large memory at yung curve style mukang yayamanin na phone, at 2023 na still buhay parin ang Huawei Nova5T ko n kirin 980 na sobrang smooth n phone, nag iinit lang tlaga pag mainit ang panahon.
Snap dragon 8 gen 1 is not bad for me. Coz I'm using red magic 7 and hindi sya nag ta throttle. I'm playing heavy games like genshin impact, aspalt 9 and undecember. It depends na lang talaga sa manufacturer.
Oh yeah the bs5 pro and the redmagic sd8gen1 have been spared from throttling. Nadaan sa good thermals
BlackShark 5 Pro user here. And yes, never ako nakaexperienced ng throttling even nakamaxed out lahat ng graphics ko on CODM (as in lahat), and the performance is superb even playing on longer hours. Plus, bypass charging is so OP.

Pero ang chipset nya is Helio G99. So base sa recommendations mo sa video na toh, hindi pla worth d price ang Vivo V27e khit maganda ang camera nito since Helio G99 ang chipset nito and priced at @P18k. Tama po ba? Nakalimutan mo yung mga Exynos chipsets. Napaka-panget ng optimization ng Exynos kahit in-house made ang chipset at sa mismong Samsung phone na siya ginagamit.

Not all are bad gaya ng 2100 compare mo sa 888 mas mainit 888 and drains more power than the 2100 ive used both mi 11 and s21 fe .

goods pa rin ba yung nothing phone 1 na 788g+ for 2023? sub 25k if i can catch on sale yung 8/256 na model. mas habol ko yung near stock android (physical dual sims) + consistent software support and longevity. currently it is my top choice along with s21 FE (3 OS + 4 years of support left if I buy this year) for the same price. upgrading from a nokia 7 plus. non gamer.
Just bought my Infinix Note 10 Pro last June with the G95 chipset for exactly 10k. I weighed so many factors before settling on the phone (budget at the time, 4k playback resolution, atleast 350k antutu points, game optimization, decent camera and vr experience, etc). For a 3 year old chip that can now be had for barely 8k Php, it still holds great value despite not being the best in thermals and memory (UFS 2.2). I'm hoping to snag a Poco F5 Pro next year with the revamped SD 8+ Gen1. Boy, for roughly 25k, it'll be the best value upgrade ever!
Would you recommend Infinix Note 10 pro, for a high school student like me? Looking for a phone that can satisfy my needs (school stuffs) and my wants (heavy games like genshin or cod).

Problema is phones with SD 695 are still hovering around 14k-18k range. Dapat around 11k-13k nalang yun then let the 778G and D8100 become the kings of 15k-20k phones
The real problem why Snapdragon 695 phones are in between PHP 14-18K, is due to constant focus towards gimmicky features like ultra-fast charging, ultra-high camera resolution, and even OLED/AMOLED display.

Because the real hurdles in this CE 3 Lite are 108 MP main cam and 67W fast charging (both are expensive gimmicks) to the point that there's not enough room for performance improvement, @@HajimeY.

Additional lang din.. Isa talaga ang chipset sa mga dapat iconsider pag bibili tayo ng new phone. Sa akin 5 yung pinaka importante i consider sa pagbili ng phone CHIPSET, CAMERA, DISPLAY, BATTERY/CHARGING at syempre yung PRICE. Pag pasok yan lahat, sulit na talaga yan. Additional na lang yung optimized OS at yung update support ng brand na pipiliin nyo :)

I actually agree on this. I’ve actually recommended a 2nd hand s20 for a friend of mine. I wasn’t expecting too much considering that its a few years older and a 2nd hand at that. Little did I know its actually rock solid and does not have any frame drops when he plays games such as farlight, wildrift, mlbb to name a few. It could hold quite a bit going against the likes of Genshin and CarX Street too. Underrated chipset in today’s standards.
Silicon is getting hard to grab. Yan ang dahilan bakit may G9x pa din ngayon. We have a semicon shortage. Bago mapunta sa phones ang mga silicon inuuna ng mga manufacturer ang needs sa medical, industrial at military applications.
EDIT: Because of semicon shortage, nagmahal ang mga products na gumagamit nito. Supply vs demand.

As of August 2023, Go for Poco F5 with their SD 7+ Gen 2. You might be surprised by the performance of this chipset compared to SD 8+ Gen 1.

@@xammendoza5653 I use it on emulation (God of war, Gran Turismo, …) warm to the touch but not hot. However, for COD, mobile legends, asphalt 9, UA-cam, movies, and etc. it’s a piece of cake for this phone.
