- A&Z #1020 - professional eater Randy Santel vs Long Time No Sea's 10 Pound $160 Cajun Seafood Challenge w/ Crab Legs, Lobster, Shrimp, Crawfish, and Mussels hosted by Long Time No Sea Cajun Seafood & Bar in Manassas, Virginia. After finishing up with moving the rest of my stuff up to our new house in Milwaukee, Wisconsin I took a week off to get settled in. Then, @KatinaEatsKilos and I flew to Knoxville, Tennessee to kick off a week-long food challenge trip around eastern Tennessee, Virginia, and New Jersey. I wanted to attempt a few restaurant eating challenges before starting my 9-month dietetic internship in Milwaukee. We each attempted 7 different food challenges during the trip. For food challenge #5, Katina and I headed over to Manassas, Virginia so we each could help kick off and become the first 2 people to attempt the $160 Cajun Seafood Challenge w/ Crab Legs, Lobster, and Mussels hosted by Long Time No Sea Cajun Seafood & Bar which was so delicious!! Katina went first and then I had 1 hour to finish a 10lb (with shells) Cajun Seafood Boil w/ 2 clusters of Snow Crab Legs, 1 lobster tail, 1lb of Green Mussels, and 1lb of Shrimp. There is also 2lbs of Cajun crawfish, 1lb andouille sausage, 4 hard boiled eggs, 4 corn on the cob, 4 boiled red potatoes, and a 1/2 shrimp Po'Boy served on top of their fried "Super Fried Basket" with fried shrimp, fried calamari, 2 catfish filets, and French fries. I most enjoyed the additional order of their popular Cajun Fried Rice with more shrimp and andouille sausage!! I was trying to become the 2nd person to win my $160 seafood feast free plus a sweet t-shirt and a spot on the Long Time No Sea Wall of Fame!! Thanks to everyone with Long Time No Sea in Manassas, Virginia for the delicious seafood, drinks, and hospitality!! Thanks also to the people who came that August evening to watch and meet us!! I appreciate everyone in Manassas, VA and all around Virginia who watches and supports our efforts!!

Long Time No Sea's Cajun Seafood Boil Challenge w/ Crap Legs in Manassas, Virginia ($160):
- Long Time No Sea has been serving seafood to the Manassas, Virginia area for a few years now.
- They offer lots of different Cajun seafood options on their menu, with a lot of it in this challenge.
- There are 2 clusters of Snow Crab Legs, 1 lobster tail, 1lb of Green Mussels, and 1lb of Shrimp.
- There is also 2lbs of Cajun crawfish, 1lb andouille sausage, 4 hard boiled eggs, 4 corn on the cob, 4 boiled red potatoes, and a 1/2 shrimp Po'Boy served on top of their fried "Super Fried Basket" with fried shrimp, fried calamari, 2 catfish filets, French fries, and more. There is a 1 hour time limit to finish everything, including an order of Cajun Fried Rice w/ more shrimp and andouille sausage.
- Winners get the $160 seafood boil free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot Long Time No Sea's Wall of Fame!!

Was gonna compliment you on how well you were doing with crab because I remember some of your past challenges that's what slowed you down. But of course humble Randy gives credit to the restaurant. Was a lovely, tasty challenge. I would've tried that rice with some of that sauce!

I wonder how competitive they are with one another?
He is like nearly 3times the size of Katina so he's obviously gonna be able to finish quicker,the fact that Katina can even eat the same amount of food no matter the time is impressive when you can see that she is far from a big lady,it this was a powerlifting competition,Randy would have to eat maybe at least twice the amount that Katina eats for it to be a fair contest between them!

Nailed it under the hour with desert and still beat katina. Very time consuming cracking shells when your against the clock but you both completed the challenge minutes apart. Nice :) x

I had devilish farts all day and couldn’t pin point why they smelled so rotten. Then you pulled out that hard boiled egg and it hit me! I had a 2 hard boiled eggs in my salad last night.
