I have the 3.0 and this is an excellent compliment to it. I start with the 3.0 and when it starts becoming too much ball in transition, I go right to the Effect. Ball is so good.
LOVED this ball review, you went more in depth than oops that was a bad shot or wow look at that hook, you actually give the people the numbers and i love that about your channel!
Diggin' the reviews, love the breakdown you give for each view. Im getting ready for the Masters and I'm trying to fine tune my line up. I want this ball but not sure if I really need it, my current line up in this order Brutal Collision (1500 w/o polish), Defender Hy, Hazmat, Widow 2.0Hy (short pin down) and spare ball. I was thinking this but leaning more towards Scorpion LF. Mph:19 Rev: 470 low tilt
New to your show videos. I dig the jersey you have on. I need to buy one of those. Radical,hammer,DV8, track, some Columbia. Pap 4.5 -1up speed off hand 17.2-18 tilt 8 revs 390. 3:44 wow that ball took off from the dry. Signed up for your videos. Can’t wait for more videos. Thanks
This is great review. I’m heading to nationals here in a couple weeks. Planning to take 5; pitch black, widow 3.0, envy tour and scorpion low flare. Right now I’m thinking zen but been eyeing drilling the Effect.
I'm Thinking About Getting The Hazmat For A Benchmark Ball... Do You Think This Ball Would Be A Better Fit I've Never Owned Any Hammer Bowling Balls. Roto Grip & Storm Is The Most I Have But I Want A Different Look.
The Effect is much stronger as far as hook potential. The Scorpion is smooth but doesn’t transition a little faster for me with its smaller diff. The balls are definitely different enough to have both in your bag. Also, one is Asymmetric and the other is symmetric.
The only thing I'm disappointed in with this ball, so far, is the "four color" part of it. I was hoping for a little more of the contrasts, but alas, it is mostly two colorish. That said, I LOVE this ball right out of the box. I mean, I really like this ball. So smooth and forgiving. It really clears out the rack. I've already gotten over the color part and this will be one of my all-time favs.
I will be posting a video on the Max Bias shortly. From my early findings, the Max Bias seeing the midlane more and doesn’t transition as quickly. As far as hook potential, both balls cover a lot of boards, however, the Max is slightly more. I can see those two balls complement each other well for your strong ball slots in your arsenal
this ball is definitely more angular than the 3.0, but this has more bite than any of the BW pearls that have come out. This ball is one of the best of the year so far.
Hi Jayson, you mentioned in one of your other videos that you really liked the Stealth pearl. Do you use it when the lanes have transitioned more while playing in more? I think both the Stealth and the Hammer Efffect have me definitely curious
The Stealth has been very good for me when the lanes are transitioned but before its burn. The bigger core helps the ball see the midlane when there is some oil but will get through the fronts well with the pearl cover.
I can see a decent comparison. From what I’ve seen, the cover of the VEBO is a little cleaner than the Effect. The Effect sees the midlane pretty well for a pearl. However, a surface adjustment could make these balls roll pretty similar
That layout probably has the pin close to being in a finger if not in a finger (I replied before he flatout said that in the vid)...20 would be like a strong pin up
A higher VAL number will raise the pin/differential. A lower VAL will lower the pin/differential. Visually you’ll see a ball with a high VAL react quicker when it sees friction and continue less where as a high VAL number will store more energy and react slower off friction. Hope this helps!
@@RevItUpBowling Maybe I'm not understanding you correctly. For me, a 55x4.5x40 is a pin up drilling. A high VAL number like 75 would be pin down... that's going to raise the rg and lower the diff...so, if I go like 35x4.5x30, that's a lower VAL number (the 30)... that would be lower rg and higher diff than pin down, isn't it?

Nice review ! Your reviews have evolved nicely !
Great review, I throw the Ebonite Remix and want to create my arsenal! Just what I am looking for, a good looker with power😊

Great video content, brilliant brilliantly done 😊.
Thanks so much!
Great Video! After seeing this video I just bought one. First non-SPI ball going into my arsenal replacing my nuclear cell.
Just found your channel. Dig your content. Going to share your channel with some other content creators. keep it up.
Could you do a vid on the old pink widow urethane
Omfg……😮😮😮😮😮😮I gotta have this ball. Even tho I just got the 3.0

What is that you are wearing around your wrist? May I know what that is
Would you recommend throwing some surface on it to level out that sharp angle?
Any plans of a review of the Ebonite GB5?
Yes, that’ll be published next week!
@@RevItUpBowling Sweet! Looking forward to it!
What are your dual angle layout numbers?
how much stronger is this Effects compare to Scorpion LF ? looks like having the same blood
The Effect is much stronger as far as hook potential. The Scorpion is smooth but doesn’t transition a little faster for me with its smaller diff. The balls are definitely different enough to have both in your bag. Also, one is Asymmetric and the other is symmetric.
Great review! Is this a 14 pound effect? or have you gone back to 15?
Thank you! And I’m still in 14. No plans on changing back

How to you compare this to blackwidow 3.0, is this stronger?
this ball is definitely more angular than the 3.0, but this has more bite than any of the BW pearls that have come out. This ball is one of the best of the year so far.
Couldn’t agree more!

Radical doesn't use DOT. The fail rate is too low to worry about implementation of it at this time. Per Phil C
What do you think about this in comparison to the VEBO?

Jesus is that really the sound of your ball making contact with the lane? Whippin that thing sounds like God slamming a car door- it’s awesome
I love this comment haha thanks!
How would this ball compare to a Katan assault?
I would say they’re pretty similar. The assault saw the midlane pretty well, as does the Effect.
You drilled it 60-41/2-60. I thought a 20 on the last number was stronger than going up.
That layout probably has the pin close to being in a finger if not in a finger (I replied before he flatout said that in the vid)...20 would be like a strong pin up

What weight? 15?
Here's the bigger question: Have you noticed the scent on the ball?
Yes I did! It caught me off guard
Wonder if it is the same as the smell on widow 3?
First time viewer. I am impressed with your knowledge and ability to relay that information in an easy to understand manner. Nice job.
My Widow Ghost "sucked!" If the Effect is similar...it's a "pass" for me.
Wow that ball runs out of lane
