do you guys remember XP coins? They use to be all around the map in I believe chapter 2. They came in green, blue, purple and gold. Man I wish epic would’ve just kept those things around. It was a very good way to gain XP. I couldn’t tell you how much those things saved me from almost missing some entire tiers in the battlepass😔
Remember 14 Days of Fortnite in December 2018? It released to some of the most unique game modes only for 1 day at a time. (Sneaky Silencers, Steady Storm, Score Royale, Barebones, Love Shot, Ground Game)
If they ever did an alien season again they should definitely bring back the parasites but have more of them that give you different effects. Maybe one that gives you nitro, one that heals you, one that gives you soaring sprints

The augments for chapter 5 season 1 were leaked but never got enabled, its cool to see all the new ones they made that almost made it to the game, and imagine the augments linked to this season with nitro or cars, probably would be too op tho
Finally, someone else who respects the alien parasite. That thing was the ultimate counter to snipers. The lost 25 health was nothing compared to IMMUNITY TO HEADSHOTS. I love those weird little guys, but my teammates were way too feeble minded to understand that the blue alien was actually helpful. I don't think those guys are in creative, when I feel like they should be.
Cosmic chests were in the game for 2 seasons, they were just insanely rare in chapter 2 season 8 and most people ignored them. I remember getting rainbow ink for toona fish from opening a cosmic chest back in that season
Ngl, baffles me that we played for so long with AR’s hitting so hard. Especially chapter 1 heavy AR, if I recall is was a 96 or 98 headshot for legendary

i think they just removed augments to have more room for modding to be its main gimmick of the season. there were files for augments for chapter 5 that got canned, kinda glad they did cause i feel like itd be a bit too much to juggle
I still remember when the milestone for augments were quietly removed like we wouldn't notice, I'll never forget the "coming soon!" Line on it either and 2 weeks before the season ended they removed it and they haven't come back

Hey Ty I have one forgotten feature, In C2 S7 if you landed at a location that had the Abductor UFOs, you would be brought into the mothership where you collected coins and battled other people. The better you did in this mini game the better the chests you got at the end. In my opinion that was one of the best features of that season yet no one talks about it.

10:22 more forgotten are secret banner symbols in loading screens. That was active since season 4 until season 9. Because every second loading screen showed a secret banner symbol (e.g. week 2, week 4, week 6, week 8 & week 10). And the other weeks (week 1, 3, 5, 7, 9) you got a battle star hidden in a loading screen. In season X however, every week included a battle star and banners weren’t anymore
I remember in C2S1 there was something kinda like the secret battlestars, except they were letters and you had to spell out Fortnite, and you had to look in the loading screens that season to find where the letters were. If you found a letter, you unlocked the ALTER style for a skin in the Battlepass.
You should make a video about the augments which were made for chapter 5, it's a shame that they were discarded as some of these would have made weapon modifications much more interesting
I don’t know why, but nobody talks about the Octanes from Chapter 3 Season 4. Those were super overpowered if you could get them chromified, and since I would always be the only player in my lobby to be a Diamond 3 in Rocket League I would win every match I played.
If you ever do a part 3 you should add the birds that gave you epic and legendary loot from ch2 and the boards where the community had to vote to bring 1 of 2 items back in ch2

Speaking of the secret battle stars I remember chapter 2 season 5 I think was the last season that had collectable xp grants that were around the map, now we have similar things in the level up pack but these were completely free

Some small kinda features, like each POI having something, like C1S9 has hot spots, C2S7 has alien ships, C2S8 has sideways domes. And like the name of the POI would be a different colour.

Don't know if many of you remember it but during the end of chapter 2 season 3 for a short time they added mushroom companion in the forest that would follow you and heal if you gave it wood. I remember trying to find it but it just wouldn't be anywhere... During that time if I recall correctly they also added golden mushroom that fully healed you (100 hp & 100 shield) but it was super rare. I only know about it's existence because of SypherPK's clip of him finding it. EDIT: While thinking of forgotten features I remember that before creative mode was a thing there was playground that allowed you to play up to 1h on the BR map and it had cool features (such as custom buildings you could throw onto the ground and minigames challenges that could be played in the air)
god I remember going into creative for the first time and not realising you could spawn stuff in from your inventory. then me and my friend made a super swag chrismas themed skybase thing with our own houses n ice rinks and stuff with a fnaf 2 map underneath

Having the battle pass be easier to finish is a good thing. Battle Passes are already questionable enough as a business decision, making them completable by more casual players is much better.
yeah especially with more games incorporating them, i think i play 3 games with battle passes and i typically only finish fortnite and one other since theyre such a time sink to do if you dont play a lot

Hot Spots Are Still Ingame Though. They Are The Locations With Yellow Names On The Map And Loot Drones Flying About
Something else along with the secret battlestars, they were the only method for getting the secret skins, which made them even more fun to do.
