Having the actual principal communicating directly with attendees at a seminar instead of through an interpreter makes a huge difference in lasting impressions and retention. I know. I've translated for a LOT of Korean elite judo and taekwondo athletes and coaches. And there were times when I was young when I didn't understand what was being said when I couldn't stop to ask for clarifiction that i just made shit up on the spot when I knew as I said it that what I was straight up horsepucky. And there's some dude wandering around out there going "Well, Jeon Kiyoung told me ..."
