Not everything and not all the time those things should be the basis. You can say that because you're only looking at (superficial, materialistic) achievements in mainstream films or TV. If this is all that matters to him, then it should be so easy to just join Marvel and only make Marvel movies for the heck of it --- regarding your measurement of success. After all, not much talent is needed to act in those movies that are only aimed for box office and nothing more. I'm referring to those actors who only got known for doing Marvel movies and just keeps doing the same Marvel movies just to milk the box office and popularity. However, the Brits are not like that. If you're not aware, he's already a two-time Tony Award nominee, a Laurence Olivier nominee, and an awardee in Critics' Circle Theatre Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, and Theatre World Award. Sure, these are award giving bodies in theatre, but these are way more credible and with integrity than other awards like the Oscars, even the others. It's more difficult to get nominated in theatre. Here, one really needs both immense talent and skill -- that is a real thespian and someone who is not resting on his laurels or boasting about what he's achieved.

It's just very annoying when people only know how to look at superficial achievements, but don't know how to look at real talent and prowess. Well, it would be really nice if theater productions can also be watched online whether that's streaming, DVD release or anything so more people can watch them especially those outside of the UK and the US.

i think, he is an actor, he still has to get his big break, where in he is the lead cast and it's a success in review and box office.
