14:32 If there are any pitch accent nerds out there, why am I always hearing this pattern where they go up on the particle? Like here she says the は higher than the rest. I'm just a beginner, but the only case I know of where the rules give you a particle higher than the preceding mora is in the case of a one-mora heiban word. Other than that, it shouldn't happen. Either the particle is lower, or it's the same pitch, but not higher. Yet, here I'm hearing 韓国語は as in low-high-high-high-high-higher. And I'm hearing that all over the place. Am I just hearing it wrong? Or is there some kind of other rule that explains it?
Some particles and words have an EXTRA high pitch I've noticed. like 気がある、おおき in a lot of situations for example. However in this case, I think sometimes they just use it to emphasize things, especially when talking slower, or when listing things. Like listing a bunch of verbs in a row they'll hit that て pretty hard. Like a sort of stress accent.
You can have Nuke Marine or George Trombly in the podcast yes? Can you tell Annie "I love you"?, just tell her, some random person on UA-cam said "I love you".
I think anyone who’s spoken enough Japanese with Japanese people, especially at higher levels, will know how important pitch accent is With that said, if you’re not used to speaking Japanese, it’s better to get used to that before wanting to master pitch accent in my opinion But once you’ve spoken Japanese enough, you’ve have run to enough times when your pitch accent gets in the way of communication to know that it’s important I’m sure anyone who’s passed N1 and hasn’t stopped speaking with Japanese people (alot) is very aware of this Ive only met a couple of Japanese teachers of Japanese who’ll tell you it’s important Most people simply don’t get to a level where it’s necessary

難しさのは、夏目漱石とかが使う漢字や当て字の読み方とか、四字熟語とか、慣用句とかは結構難しかったね。
後は、関西弁で喋れると使っている擬音語と擬態語は非常にややこしいだね

To a certain extent it can improve your accent naturally, but you can also improve it more directly by consciously practicing/noticing mistakes
