Thank you for making a review that talks about the technical aspects of the sled you discovered during a long time on it and isn’t just a rehash of what you can read on the spec sheet after 5 minutes of tooling around, awesome job!
Amen brother. I think a lot of people forget that tons of the time spent riding is on something other than 3 feet of bottomless fluff. The short track and shorter paddles are so much more fun on ALL those days.
Awesome review! What track speeds were you seeing with the 154 2.5 vs the 3”? Even compared to the 165 3”? Life experience is teaching me to never to say never in powersports!
Pretty informative video. I can't get enough of ski Doo power. Why don't they blow the competition off the planet and bridge the gap and make a 2.75" track for everywhere?
It’s a 165” turbo 2020.5, you said 163. The track speed loss from a 3” track to a 2.5 is so minimal especially for 90 percent of off trail riders no one would notice. A 2.5 is good for most conditions, I rode one in BC last year and was trenching everywhere, but a 3” has much much more traction to claw up. Suspension setup alone will make a 3 inch never trench and pull out from under the snow before a 2.5 all day long. From such a credible channel, this review is very poor.
Thanks Great Video, how would you compare this to the Khaos from a playfulness prospective and flick-ability... think I am making up words here... :) I think you know what I mean though :) thanks
That’s bullshit, Ski Doo’s are inferior in steep terrain where Polaris is top dog. Most don’t ride steep terrain so the Doo usually is better than poo cuz they are so playful
This guy does not know what hes talking about 3" for life if you want more traction and deep snow riding. 2.5" sucks.. no traction plus you will get stuck everywhere in deep snow. This is not a race sled it's a mountain sled bro.
Deomid Kuzmin no, you clearly have no clue The snow hasn’t changed The mountain isn’t steeper 2” and 2.25” tracks were climbing the mountains obviously before you were old enough to ride or possibly, based on how you behave... before you were born.
He specified that the 2.5" was the better choice for the snow HE rides in his area, and that if you spend the majority of the season in deep powder to go for the 165x3". He knows what hes talking about.
I could listen to this dude all day. His knowledge and delivery and how it's applied to how these sleds operate is spot-on...

I would say probably 80% of my ridding I was glad to have my 165 3”
Very well said my man! Experienced rider
Curious what the track speeds are w the 2.5 compared to the 3” lug on the turbo
when is the next magazine coming out?

Great video!
So question... 165” free ride or 175” Expert both turbos for a 240 pound rider mostly riding in 2-3 ft of powder?
165 the 175 is overkill
Video should have been called "2.5 vs 3" tracks"
You sold me, now lend me the money for this sled. Great video.

why are the running boards still as wide as a seadoo? the washout on these sleds because of the wide running boards is hilarious
I got a good laugh when he mentioned shot technology in reasoning the high cost. It’s a capacitor, been around almost 100 years.
Talk about something other than the 2.5 track. Half the vid was wasted on the track lol. #disappointed
its a big deal...
@@denechristie8355 not really

Never going to 2.5... 3" for life.
Deomid Kuzmin Hell yah!
first half of vid was saying same thing over and over about the tracks, yes we know about tracks what about the sled lol
Tons of audio static

Deomid Kuzmin u are delusional 😭
Deomid Kuzmin so when mountain sleds had 2” tracks they got stick everywhere?
Or is it you just suck so bad you need as big of a crutch as possible?
@@tedpendagast579 this is not the 1900s bro. Try to keep up with us. Trust me I know what I'm talking about I've rode them all.
