I've always thought that among Morissette's performances, this particular one right here was one of the most overlooked and underrated that I believe it should get substantially more views than many others of hers. And I'm not saying that just because it's one of my favorites 😄

Great reaction. Adonis Tabanda (bass player) has been Mori's main musical director for more than ten years and he is responsible for a lot of the great arrangements for Morissette's songs. Try her Bruno Mars evolution medley released about a year ago. She sings 14 or 15 songs in 7.5 minutes and all are magnificent.

I really enjoyed the format of your RV really well constructed. Yeah Morissette is really a rare gem. Mariah songs are generally very hard to cover because of her trademark whistle register and her diverse range. If you do a quick search of the number of artist that have covered this song you would probably only find less then half a dozen if that. The number of views on this video does not truly reflect how good this performance was.

If you hunger for more musicianship, check out her "Bruno Mars Medley". The drumming is redonculous. For a Mori talent display without the whistle, I suggest "Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw", the live band version. Her other vocal breaks are well displayed.

They are not per say "A Group", this was just a way to keep from going crazy during the horrible "lockdown" Pandemic phase over there, couldn't all get together live so the Bass player "Adonis Tabanda" figured out a way to make it happen by streaming all together (separately) from home. and put this track together, It was also a Celebration of Mariah's "The Amancipation Of Mimi" ann. album , also, She was discredited for not singing the "Jesus" in Whistle tone at a past show , so she decided to put that to rest at the same time.
Drummer's name is "Rey Rey Perez Jr", you can find his live work of this on his YT Channel.

Not gonna' lie though....I was starting to get a bit salty that you didn't mention the INCREDIBLE Morissette's voice/singing even once during the performance (understandable I guess with those incredible instrumentals ha ha). I let out an audible sigh of relief to hear you praise her though once the performance was done! Morissette Amon is truly one of the most AMAZING vocalists out there today. As most of the comments below have stated the bassist/guitarist is Adonis Tabanda Mori's friend and long time musical director. He can be seen on virtually every one of Mori's "live band" performances as the musical director of his band "3rd Avenue"....one of the "tightest" and most incredible group of musicians I've heard in a very long time. My good sir if you REALLY want a treat I HIGHLY recommend that you do a reaction video to Morissette's Live "Bruno Mars Medley" performance ft. 3rd Avenue. It is absolutely MIND BLOWING in all facets. Mori and 3rd Avenue DESTROY most of Bruno's most iconic tunes in an AMAZING arrangement. Trust me it will blow your mind. 👍👍👍
If you watch my other videos, I do that frequently. The reason being that everyone notices the obvious so I try to point out the not so obvious then give props to the main subject at the beginning of the analysis part of the video. 😊 ALTHOUGH, I do gasp a few times for M! 😄 I’ll give her a some more love during the video next time! 😊

ADONIS TABANDA is her long time musical director, he's also a member of 3rd ave who have supported her throughout her career, KIKO SALAZAR is the guy who wrote her original song AKIN KA NA LANG which some say is the song that grabbed many people's attention, he also wrote a song called POWER that she performed at the Miss Universe Philippines competition for the finale, her 5 track SIGNATURE EP that her and her husband DAVE LAMAR wrote are masterpieces especially with the live band, she did all 5 songs in one set in one take with her husband doing all the videography, she is solely in charge of her own career now so the shackles are well and truly off, singer, producer, multi instrumentalist I e piano and guitar, just watch her livestreams that she does from home that she has on her various channels of her just sitting there blasting out these amazing raw impromptu vocals at fans requests, totally unrehearsed and not ashamed to make the odd mistake as you will witness, I think it just adds to her authenticity as a superb ARTIST that she is, she is self taught at singing, piano and guitar, just pure hard graft has got her to where she is today, Disney also wrote a song for her for the introduction of Disney+ to the Philippines called IMAGINE MORE, she is only 2nd behind LEA SALONGA to have a Disney song especially written for her, so it's testament to how big she is becoming 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

All have backed Morrisette for almost a decade. Salazar composed her biggest hit in the Philippines, Akin Ka Na Lang. Tabanda has been her musical director for nine years when she was just a teenager, and is a magician with musical arrangements.
