Maybe chan was a fan of anime also, and he can see his sacrifice , perseverance and passion in one of the anime that Lisa sang for ost.
LiSA also grew up having a dream to be a singer. She also sacrificed her youth learning and pursuing this dream. She never gave up. No wonder she and Chan would hit it off.
I AM SUPER LOVE BY THE FACT YOU RECOGNIZED HOW GENTLEMAN THEY ARE FOR HONOURING LiSA WITH THE BEST PART OF THIS SONG. SAME THING HAPPENED FOR TIGER JK. IT'S NOT JUST MERE LINES, IT'S ONE OF THE BEST PART. THEY MAKE THEIR COLLAB ARTIST FEEL APPRECIATED IMHO.

Besides Han, I believe Chan would be the most delighted to collab with LiSA because he has said many times in his live that he love and respect LiSA so much.
Chan and Lee Know as the members that were assigned with the first 1/2 of each chorus just makes so much sense 😭🩵

I love LiSA’s delivery, she puts so much emotion and emphasis in her lines, I don’t hear that often from anyone else. I too imagine that both Han and Lee Know were ecstatic for this collab as they’re both jrock/anime fans, so I wonder if Lee Know wanted to do the chorus for that reason. He loves belting with that kind of rock tone and I thought he did amazing here. Thank you for the reaction, you confirm every thought I had, and I love your fangirling. Keep it up!

The phrase: "She knows that. She's been there. She's done that" that phrase gave the song another whole meaning I didn't see, thank you. I needed to fangirl that much and watching your video felt just the same excitement as the first time I listened to it.
Actually BangChan is the most excited one for this collab. Can imagine, cause him writing a song about his experience and your favorite artist is singing your song!! He was so noisy about it, before the release and after on bubble. I can’t wait to see their collab stages.

Legendary is the right word! I LOVE how they honored her style, vibe and artistry. I appreciate they gave her such an important role in chorus. The sound blended beautifully without anyone loosing their authenticity. They incorporated her into the story AND used her signature color as a carry element. Like...THIS IS HOW YOU COLLAB. I am so proud!
Everything you said, all the symbolism is right on point. After you mentioned the lighting I was even more shocked and if you didn’t notice at the end only channie other then Lisa has red in there outfits. It makes so much sense since he is the oldest, definitely sacrificed most of his childhood and wrote this song based off his experience. The video is amazing love this song so much!

I am really glad SKZ gave another great collaboration. Seems they know how to honor the featured artist and make them shine as they deserve.
I often think 3racha really understand the other SKZ members' forte and capabilities as musicians through the love toward them and wise and careful ongoing observations. And seems it goes the same to the artists they asked for collaborations. The artists whose music 3racha have listened a lot and have loved for years.
I cannot think of any other musician than LiSA for this song.
Her voice has so much power and in some parts the voice is so sexy and almost seducing as if showing us this is what you got if you sacrifice your present in the right way.
Glad SKZ's musical range is this broad and gets braloader and broader and also very glad that LiSA decided to accept this collaboration

this song is just beautiful. i agree on the fact that it makes me cry as well. seeing minho do the chorus in english when its already such a strong vocal part just brings me to tears. theyve all grown so so much as people and artists. the song is much more emotional when you realize chan wrong it about his life.. also! oh my god the fact that you can tell they worship lisa in the song. not only does she have the chorus to herself they have her on a stage with spotlights and stuff!! i love the boys, theyre amazing (bad grammar but yk)
I know, this collab was epic and I want more. I agree with Han having the rock sound because through out the song I was thinking that Han and Felix are the only two who could sing/ rap in her flavour and balance her sound. She is very powerful and could have taken over the whole song so it was not an easy song to produce. I am glad SKZ did a fantastic job merging their flavour and hers in a very good taste. I am loving the song and this collab was epic.
I think binchan suits the rock sound too, but for bin it has to be his raspy voice, and for chan, well his voice is always kinda like that but specifically the live performance of slump comes to my mind, his vocals suited the genre so well
Yes, good point Changbin's raspy voice has rock/ metallic sound. Bangchan is one of my favorite singers in K-pop, and since tou mentioned his live vocals for slump, i am gonna go and check it out

I really enjoyed this reaction, especially since I had no knowledge of LiSA before this collab. Your description of her voice as “metallic” was spot-on; it fit so well with the tone of the MV and the heartbreaking lyrics. I had no idea she was that much older, but if so, she would definitely relate to the beginning lyrics and chorus, as would most idols. It’s a cruel industry.
As an aside, I love your appreciation for Lee Know. Someone on the TL mentioned wanting to be a fly on the wall for when he, one of the best at Japanese in the group, found out he would get his part entirely in dreaded English. 😂
IN’s vocal is the most similar to LiSA’s; the explosiveness, clear pitch, and metallic taste. The last pre Chris when LiSA and IN harmonize it was like one person singing:)
Hyunjin really has different range of voices like he always amazed me we got new voice of him here and his voice is gorgeous omg I love his part so much I hope ppl appreciate his vocals more!!

I have to be honest, I knew LiSA only by name before, but I instantly loved her voice here.
And I love this song so much, the rock influenced sound with the drum&bass beat in the chorus but also the more laid back pre-chorus AAAAH. Also all their voices dayum the part in unison had me ascending.
Love the MV too, I really like the aesthetic.

oh definitely check more of LiSA! she is a LEGEND in Japan - try to start with The First Take performances, which are unedited and raw and she is INCREDIBLE there. I know stayville will love her cause she is cute and just so sweet but such a FORCE to be reckon with, just like boys. :)

This collab is perfect and you really captured all of my thoughts here. They blended their music styles so perfectly, it really feels like a collaboration rather than a featuring. Right off the bat you can tell it's serious for them. Chan has been a fan of LiSA for so long too, I know he and 3racha did everything they could to make it a celebration of her because she's been a great inspiration for them as well. I can't explain how happy I am, this is everything I wanted and then some~
Changbin has been singing quite a bit lately. You can listen to his new song Fly High (solo) and when the rapline sang Waiting for us at their last fanmeeting. And of course the goldmine that is their karaoke, Conodoll? I think Changbin surprised a lot of people there. He was channeling his inner main vocal. 😅
I loved their new song, it is very enthusiastic, their voices are very beautiful, and Lisa’s voice is very wonderful❤❤❤❤

Felix deep voice is so unique and is such music to hear, whether he is singing or just talking. It is not like some other deep voices out there. 💙💙💙
Ok. Chan has talked about how he wrote the lyrics about his years as a trainee. Since he was a trainee for 7 years, he has seen a lot of mental suffering watching all his friends either debut without him, or get dropped from the programs.
Let's see. Things I noticed in the MV.
-The bag people seem to be representative of both faceless people who are both worshiping & hating at the same time, or inner doubts & thoughts that come when they are alone.
-I.N is the first to stand against the tide of people & grasp the light.
-Everyone stays isolated till Chan gets taken by the hands. They all had separate things happening. Being isolated, being stared at, being forced to constantly run, being chained in one place, etc. Then Chan is taken & they are suddenly moving.
-liSA seems to be a unified voice leading them in a direction. She has the lines " the ashes to prove my passion burning endlessly" (Or close to it....I am horrible at remembering exact lyrics)
-When they are unified & moving against the crowds, the ones who are most able to withstand pressure without flinching are in the lead. (Lee Know, and Changbin are the most obvious at the front making a path for the others)
-When they reach the wall Chan had been trapped against, they tear it open. There is only 7 of them when this happens....They are going through to reach Chan. (Chan has said in multiple instances that the other members have saved him. If it wasn't for them, he doesn't even think he would be on this planet)
-When they are 8 is the only time you see them smile.
-There are shadowy hands that are trying to touch Changbin in the beginning, and just as he wakes up you see clawed hands reflected in his eyes/the moon.
-Felix's wing actually kinda seems slightly separate from him. Almost as if he has a guardian angel protecting him. It lifts & reveals him a little before starting to cover him again.
-In the final dance scene, the only ones with no red in their outfit are Chan, Changbin, and Felix. I listened to someone explain that the colours kinda mean something. liSA has a strong red & black theme. She seems to represent courage & determination. The others have red in their outfits because they gained those from outside sources. (Like the other members, or helpful people) The three who have no red are ones who already had those and didn't get them from an outside source. Changbin & Felix are the least effected during the MV. Felix already had an inner fire, and Changbin refused the shadowy hands. Chan was taken, but he didn't stop trying to escape. There are many flashes of Chan staring ahead, or jerking awake & not just allowing himself to be swallowed. You see him float above the people who took him, until the others break through to him.

Seeing someone else as excited about this collab as me makes me so so happy. I found LiSa when she did crossing fields and I was never over her after that. I really appreciate that they gave Lisa some of the bigger parts I really feel like this is the best way to do a collab. The transition from Lisa’s voice to Felix’s has to be my new favorite transition. I was really surprised by Hyunjins voice in this song actually I can’t explain it. Social path feels like an anime ost.

I kept refreshing UA-cam waiting for this reaction to come up. And I am so happy to have found another LiSA fan. I learned of her cuz my partner is hugely into anime and I was instantly hooked on her voice, her sound, and her visuals. The only that could top this collab for me is if SKZ did a pop ballad collab with Nana Mizuki. Also you look wonderful as always and instantly makes Stays and everyone's day better. 1:11 I totally get you. I love SKZ, LiSA is legit probably one of my top three artists in the WORLD. I just adore her music, her energy, her entire presence that she brings with every song she does.
This collab was shown to me by my wife, because she knows my love for LiSA, as an artist. I just about lost my mind.
I do wish LiSA had more vocals in the song, other than just the chorus, but I also get that she’s a guest vocalist on SKZ’s album. I just feel like they didn’t make use of her dynamic voice.
All in all, this song does not disappoint.

I've been noticing similarities between him and Taka in terms of singing and performing. HAN delivers rock so well plus his different voice color. He has a little solo in their 5-STAR concert while playing guitar too. And he's a fan of ONE OK ROCK so I'm hoping for them to collab I need my HAN OK ROCK moment so bad!! (HAN means one in Korean hehehe it fits so perfectly)
