This is how trials go. They can't change how they do things just because there's kids involved. In this country you have the right to a fair trial no matter what she's innocent until proven guilty. Obviously I know she's guilty but this is the way things are.

I do think she is responsible for JJ and Tylee's deaths in some way. That said, the Bond is too high for the current charges. You cannot set a bond based on future charges that may or may not come to be. I'm surprised she doesn't have a better attorney. The high bond takes into consideration several issues. Flying to Hawaii when the police came looking for JJ . She knew or should have known , there was an investigation starting and she fled. When served with a valid court order , she did not comply and failed to appear. Another consideration is, she has not complied with that valid court order , as of this bond hearing. The likelihood of her failing to show up for future court dates pertaining to the current charges this bond hearing is about, is high , therefore her bond is high.
Are these phone calls between Lori and Mr Means the reason how they found the children in Daybell’s backyard?? This was in May, digging and discovery of remains occurred in early June. Did it take a month for a warrant for the Daybell/Dumbbell property? Not just based on Alex Cox’s phone records as we’ve been told. Is this why he’s so upset about this information being recorded and listened to by other parties??

I thought he was a family law attorney? I believe he was brought onto the case when a guardianship case was filed for the children, before they found their bodies. For some bizarre reason, he stayed on the case & now that her other attorneys quit, he’s the only one left. Regardless, it’s pretty scary to have either a personal injury attorney or a family law attorney defending someone facing multiple felonies.

He seems to be claiming that because someone in the affidavit said "phone callS" that it means more than 2 times even though they specifically say it happened twice and you would use "calls" to describe more than one, so hes really not making much sense to me or the judge lol

I do think she is responsible for JJ and Tylee's deaths in some way. That said, the Bond is too high for the current charges. You cannot set a bond based on future charges that may or may not come to be. I'm surprised she doesn't have a better attorney. On a side note, I'm surprised how the judge keeps complaining about wearing a mask.

The high bond takes into consideration several issues. Flying to Hawaii when the police came looking for JJ . She knew or should have known , there was an investigation starting and she fled. When served with a valid court order , she did not comply and failed to appear.
Another consideration is, she has not complied with that valid court order , as of this bond hearing.
The likelihood of her failing to show up for future court dates pertaining to the current charges this bond hearing is about, is high , therefore her bond is high.
Are these phone calls between Lori and Mr Means the reason how they found the children in Daybell’s backyard?? This was in May, digging and discovery of remains occurred in early June. Did it take a month for a warrant for the Daybell/Dumbbell property?

He is a personal injury in Meridian Idaho. This is his first case like this.
I thought he was a family law attorney? I believe he was brought onto the case when a guardianship case was filed for the children, before they found their bodies. For some bizarre reason, he stayed on the case & now that her other attorneys quit, he’s the only one left. Regardless, it’s pretty scary to have either a personal injury attorney or a family law attorney defending someone facing multiple felonies.
