Dropping Rayudu is a big mistake at that time. As a chairman of selection committee, Msk has to accept his mistake.

Rayudu was named the first in the probables list that means if a player gets injured then first rayudu should have come in but even though two players were injured (dhawan and Vijay Shankar) pant and mayank were named as replacements so what's the explanation for this? If no politics were played and common sense prevailed , why was Mayank Aggarwal included in the World Cup Squad ahead of Mr.Ambati Rayudu after some injuries . People said team India needed an opener and hence Aggarwal was included but Rayudu is a versatile player who can don many hats , bat at any position . He proved it during his stint with the csk and also when he was with MI . Aggarwal, on the other hand didn’t even debut in an ODI . How can a player who played 0 games be picked directly into a World Cup squad . Clearly , there were some politics played . Mr.MSK is directly responsible because he was the head of the selection committee.
