    HONESTY RESONATES! I absolutely
L❤VE this conversation! So many nuggets of genuine wisdom & humanity, not just for singers at various points of their careers, but for regular, everyday people from all walks of life, from wherever, doing whatever. Thank you for posting this. Love to you all! ✌🏽🇨🇦

Lucine Amara spoke about going through menopause and thought she'd stop singing at 52. Her then voice teacher Bobbi Tillander said no, you just have to rework your voice, and she began vocalizing way down into the tenor and baritone range and up to high E 6 and sang well until 86. She's now 98. Listen to the videos of Magda Olivero. About 85% are post menopause and she was stunning! Heck, she was 65 when she debuted Tosca at the Metropolitan Opera. Fausta Truffa singing La Vergine in her late 80s is absolutely amazing. Yes menopause and C sections for expectant mothers who are opera singers should be discussed openly. Thanks for doing so! 😊

Wow, what an important conversation. Thanks so much. I wish I heard this when I was young. I might have stayed with singing and made it a career. But, all of this even for a man is so right on the mark and so important.

I wonder if Michael Fabiano's foundation can help with getting more voice teachers for children in Lebanon? I know he does great things here in the USA. Might be worth discussing with him 😊

Why isnt Keri the internationally famous diva our time? I love Sondra, and she deserves her fame. But DAMN, Keri is so great! She maybe doesnt know great she is.
