Sam is one of the villains in the story, but I think he meant that you should be angry at Dream for ignoring Ranboo and being selfish and wanted himself to get out with Techno, and not with Ranboo. Out of all the things that Sam has done, at least he was able to keep Dream in the prison.

The way Dream said "Buddy" sounded like he was generally excited about seeing Punz.
Of all the actors in this play the ones I believe the most are Tommy and Dream. Dream actually sounds deranged and I love it. Tommy on the other hand is actively giving me anxiety.

It doesn't matter how he knew where to find the stuff, he probably searched until he found it. in this case, it was kind of predictable that it was in the exile area (bc Tommy would want to leave his exile times behind) so he didn't have to search a lot

Honestly have been on Dream's side through all this. Tommy's "torture" was nothing compared to Dream"s time in prison. After he poked and proded the bull he is now getting the horns. Tommy did so much to upset the balance of the Dream SMP and made Dream pay for making Tommy atone for his actions. Treason is clearly a crime and yet Tommy never adhered to the rules unless they were his own. Tommy deserves what's coming to him.

Honestly I don't think there's any right side. Nobody is a paragon of good. Dream is manipulative as shit. Tommy is greedy and materialistic. Techno is basically a terrorist. Sam is a paranoid supervillain who kidnapped a kid. Quackity was torturing Dream for the revival book. Point is everyone has done something bad.

I get a reallll 'think as thieves' vibe from Dream and Punz's current ingame relationship. The way Dream could trust Punz and Punz was sympathising of Dream's time in prison and everything. Even just their word choices and behaviour when they were catching up... Two dodgy characters with a bond of sympathy. I love it.
