- This is a quick look at my SoundOff Signal 400 series siren. Duel tones and Rumbler included too! I'll be doing a longer tones video for this unit in the not too distant future. I'm trying out a new mic for this video too, so my fingers are crossed that the audio is as good as it sounds in preview mode. Anyways, feel free to ask any questions about it. Hope you enjoy!

The dual-tone horn sounds so good!!
Finally! An in depth demo video of the nERGY 400! One of my favorite sirens out there. I particularly love how the air horn tone sounds, it’s very aggressive. The local Airport Police here use this siren in their patrol vehicles with the dual tones and rumbler… it sounds so good.
(Thought I commented back when this video was uploaded lol oh well)
My local SO uses this model too, except without dual tones. Not as cool without them.
@@allintodrumsandguns Aw thats a shame. The dual tones slap so hard haha
Thanks for the reply, huge fan of your content and channel! Love your siren demos!
@@ItzKnightlife I know, I was bummed when I found out they were single tone models only. I actually helped some of our Deputies program a third siren in since they were CA 13 compliant and we’re not in CA. Helped a little, but dual tone and rumbler would have been bomb!
Thanks for your support, I appreciate it very much!
If you want aggressive horn check my video with Federal Signal As 422
@@SIRENS-YT Hmmm not bad, same AH tone as the PA-640, it seems (at least the horn tone on the 422 6S PO does). Which both sound very similar to the nERGY horn. I like it
Arkansas state police be like: Y E L P
Yup
Ong😂😂
FRFR
No telling what their yearly budget is on cruisers and repairs/ replacement for Arkansas state police
Yelp is the best time to use because it's the most potent to the human ears
I love the 400 series. I’m from DC and MPDC uses it. The dual tone Yelp and phaser/priority (same thing) sound so nice. That rumbler horn is just insane…
Same. The Grand Rapids Police Department (GRPD) in Michigan has that kind of siren on its cruisers.
YESSSS, about time someone’s done it, unfortunately I can’t like this video more than once
Really enjoyed, could you please make a video showing the Alert tone with the rumbler on. Would love to see that.
Awesome! Can you do a video of the different wails, yelps, horns, etc that is offered?
I’ll do one with more of the options.
Awesome thanks!
Hey Code3, I was wondering if you could do a tones for online usage video with your touchmaster siren. Thanks!
Neat.
Jeremy DeWitte starter kit! Nice!
I'm praying he does a second video with that siren. I believe those can do dual wail, dual yelp, ect... I would love to have that.
You are correct, it will do that. And, I think there will be at least another video including that in it.
@@allintodrumsandguns Awesome, looking forward to it!
@@allintodrumsandguns Is it still planned?
I’ve been trying to find out what the name of the siren at 2:30 is. I think it’s like “Alert A”.
Nicely displayed. Any idea on how to turn the annoying 8 second beep off? Didn't have much luck with customer service, told me I might have a locked out system.
So, if your system is not locked out, you can press and hold auxiliary buttons 1 & 5 together until the 1 and 3 LEDs flash on the slide switch. Since the 8 sec timer is on, aux button 7 should have the red light above it. Press it and turn it off. Then press the radio rebroadcast button to exit programming mode. Beeper will now be off.
Soundoff nergy is my fav
Me too
The newer New Orleans EMS Sprint Units use these sirens .
Hello I have the siren that is displayed at 2:54, how to change that to pier, and am I able to just do it with out taking the module out of the car
The Chicago Police Department has adopted this new system! Pretty rad
Some of their new 2020-21 FPIUs have the Federal Signal Pathfinder too.
@@ItzKnightlife yes that’s correct
It sounds a lot like the Federal Signal PA640 siren.
Can you do one from the 295 series?
At minute 2:32 is that a tone? If so what's it's called have heard it on several police chase videos and is it even audible in a chase to other drivers going well over a hundred MPH? Just curious about the chase part that's why I asked.
SoundOff calls it the “Alert A” tone.
I was in the US once and their Sheriff used thid but sadly no dual tone..
I have a code 3 RLS siren, the question is what set of stuff do I need to connect the siren the speaker? There’s not really videos on how to do it.
I have an RLS and there should be two slots on the back of the 8 slot green connector labeled “speaker” and “com”. The lead wires from your speaker will be affixed in those slots to make the speaker have sound. (Does not matter which wire goes in either slot)
Is there a way to program it so it beeps at you when the lights are on?
Best with #Whelen siren + federal smart siren

Rock Island Police department, and coral springs police department has this system
@Code3Diffraction what does the GUN button do? I assume the amber is the center left and right traffic advisor
Sorry if my English is bad
In an installed application, the GUN button would release a lock on a long rifle or shotgun in a police vehicle.
The amber actually controls a warning pattern on the lightbar I have hooked up to it. I’ll do a video on it soon and it will become more clear.
Ohh I see thanks! I was thinking that the amber would be a warning pattern but I was just making sure
And also looking forward to it! 😃
Quick question can you do a demo for online usage of the dual tones with the rumbler. I’m trying to make a app and my town uses dual tones. The way the tones are set up are double wail, double Yelp and the Priority and Yelp. If it is not to much can you do this please. If you can’t do the other choice can you do the normal tones no dual tones and just do it for online usage?
If you mind making an app with just the first 3 tones that’d be cool, I’d buy it
???
You said you’re trying to make an app
@@davidashton35 I’m still in progress because he needs to make a video for online usage so it will be easier
@@davidashton35 until then I can’t
Our local police department had these .
Those are the Whelen sirens
Are any of these for sale ?
So you just push and hold horn for the rumbler?
No, it’s on a momentary push button, and the timer can be set between 8-45 seconds.
Wisconsin state patrol siren
Yep
5:53
Can you do a Video for Online Usage?
Possibly at some point.
Can you redemo without dual tones and rumbler
I might revisit it at some point.
Wisconsin State Patrol
It might be hard to get, but I would love to see a d&r rds17. It is one widely used here in canada, and my police department where I am at uses them with the rumbler. It sounds so cool. I found a clip from around UA-cam of what it sounds like. ua-cam.com/video/Y6OQh0-AEUg/v-deo.html
