In this episode of Pokemon Shining Pearl But I Can Only Use SHINY Pokemon, we get ourselves our next team member, shiny Drifloon! This shiny Drifloon came after 4,041 resets and even though it was slightly under odds, this was still by far the most time consuming hunt of the play through! I NEED YOUR HELP! I am currently hunting for my next member for this play through and I realized I can use my shiny Gastrodon to help me get my target a little faster! However, I need an ability capsule to give my Gastrodon the correct ability! If one of you could send me an ability capsule I will shout you out in the next episode!
Could you catch another Shellos with the Storm Drain ability? Or does not that apply to your rules of using only shinies? That not just battles?
@LetsleyPlays I have to use only shinies so using a non shiny to get a certain type of Pokémon to spawn does not count

This series gives me motivation to keep looking for shiny feebas lol. I somehow got a shiny zubat by chance on Xmas and yet when I purposely look for shinies they avoid me like the plague xD
lol it’s crazy how that happens! I’ve gotten so many random shinies just playing through Pokémon games but sometimes I go over 20k encounters just for one!
That's how it happens.
They'll only show when they know you ain't looking for them

14:00 Yes, he needs more flying type moves. It doesn't help the fact that Drifloon's SPA is higher that it's physical attack, but special flying moves are not common
By "not common" you mean it gets Gust and that's it

@@drifloonsupremacyassociation oh yeah pretty much the only other ones that exist that aren't signature are Hurricane, Air Slash, and Air Cutter, but they could absolutely spring for one of those for Drifblim

I do not. In fact I actually have no idea how to do that and don’t care too find out lol. Shiny hunting is fun because I enjoy collecting the rare Pokémon. Hacking them in would take that excitement and fun away from me!
