Austin A30 1954 in action 19 April 2024

First trip out this morning was puctuated with 5 cases of "failing to proceed" traced to a faulty float chamber valve sticking shut and causing fuel starvation. Swapped carb float cover for one off small Reliant. Then tested again this evening. All good in that respect on 10 mile run. Full to overflowing tank but fuel gauge inoperative, ditto odometer.
