Everything wrong with dark souls pvp perfectly summed up. The backstab spam (with hornet ring as well smh, and for some of those their backs weren't even turned), the great combustion, the ninja flipping, gankers, guys that are levelled up out the wazoo, etc. Dueling is seemingly a foreign concept. Missing the absurd lag. Just pure nonsense.

@furiousbanana As if you haven't seen impossible backstabs before if you're playing this game so much, I saw plenty just last week. I have people cheesing the collision, getting right in my face and somehow getting a backstab while I'm facing them and backing away, I have people teleporting behind me when it isn't possible for them to be there, I have people backstabbing me out of a roll which should have made me invincible. I can very well win multiple PvPs in a row with just a halberd and I prefer not to rely on cheap tricks, I've learnt the timing of rolls so I can punish them and I can bait wiggling nerds into getting backstabbed themselves, you're talking down but you don't even know who you're talking to. Care to expand that abbreviation? Do you mean "guided camera"? What a daft assertion, as if anyone who's played the game doesn't understand what lock on is, everyone is perfectly able to click down R3. If you meant great combustion, here's a little fact for you, it wipes out most of my health and has more range than it looks in a laggy game, it casts quickly too, I can dodge that nonsense perfectly but if you think it's easy to charge through or block, you probably haven't been on the receiving end of a combustion spamming tryhard, they max out their stamina, buy every copy of the spell they can, then do nothing but spam that or some other nonsense pyromancy, it's frustrating and boring to fight people who rely on a gimmick. It goes through most shields and pyromancy spammers typically have highly upgraded pyromancy flames, my stamina isn't infinite so I can't continue dodging while I have the spammer constantly on me, nullifying any attempt to get around because they'll likely turn and burn me faster than I can recover from rolling and they can usually run further than I can, so excuse me if I find it to be utter nonsense when I can't escape from the people spamming it.
just search youtube for dualwield/twohand dark hand dsr 1: Place darkhand above your main weapon in the weapon menu 2:Go on midroll, it's easier if you've never done it before. Don't have a catalyst/shield in your left hand 3: roll, buffer the twohanding input (just press twohand while rolling) so that at the end of your roll you twohand, and quickly swap your weapon to the dark hand. It's pretty easy.
For a long time I really tried to get good at Dark Souls pvp (in ds3, I had the original dark souls so I couldn't play online for some reason) but I don't think its for me. I don't know how you guys do it but don't you dare go hollow!
