When you find a secret exit in a Super World, it will open up a path or area the creator chosen. -Liquid Bubbles You know those water bubbles in certain levels in 2D Mario? These bubbles could be made bigger or smaller and you can change what type of liquid it is. You have three options: Water, Lava, and Poison. You can even use these bubbles for water enemies!
I’d like the blue P-switch-activated coins to return. Those are excellent indicators - different-coloured coins for spin jumping, like in ROM hacks - or just a good reward if you’re quick to collect as many as possible within the time.
SMM3 would make my editor better, if they add the following elements: - Fences (From Super Mario World) - One Way Pipes (Pipes in the NSMB games, are one way entry, they can't be re-entered back. - Ropes controlled by rail-tracks. - Blue Shell powerup. (Since NSMB came out, this powerup hasn't return into any other oficial 2D Mario game so far...) - More Backgrounds. ( Sewer, Beach, etc...) Hope all of this, makes my dreams come true... 😊
I do want a few of the things you mentioned. Things I'd also to see in MM3 are the beach theme for levels, the hammer suit, the penguin suit, the blue shell, and the tiny mushroom, Super Mario Bros 2 style worlds, different ways to beat a level (example is once you kill a boss the stage ends without you having to reach the goal), more bosses like the ones on in New Super Mario Bros.
Something I want to see above anything else are new backgrounds for levels. I want to be able to make my own theme and have the level stand out based on the background alone, not just the gizmos or enemies that primarily inhabit the course.
I’d personally want to see Dry Bowser. He could be similar to Bowser, but can’t be hurt by fire balls, and what I think could be really cool is making him immune to Lava, so that chase segments like in NSMBWii could be made properly possible
One feature I want to see while creating and uploading a level is a rewind feature. Ever try to upload a stage you know is possible to beat but your Mario Skills just aren't sufficient? This one part of your level gives you trouble and getting to that one part takes a bit? Want to cut down on time? How about a rewind feature? As you go to upload the stage and miss that jump, instead of starting over you rewind a bit to the previous "safe point" and continue from there. I think a rewind feature would come in handy for uploaders.
There needs to be a beach theme. Idk why it was left out, it had one of the best music tracks imo. And maybe there's a feature where you can change the type of liquids in a course? A poisonous desert? An underwater volcano?? That sounds like a wonderful idea-
I'd love to see more lift options. I'm talking the spinning ferris lifts (and the variant where you have to pedal them from nsmbw) the balance lifts with the ropes connecting them seen even in the original smb, and also lift spawners so we can finally faithfully recreate 1-2
My top 10: -Pipe, volcano, and beach themes -Super Mario Bros. 2 style -Super Mario Land 2 style -Tanooki and Hammer Suits -Mini Mushroom -Blue and yellow Koopas, and the appropriate Yoshis -Fences -In Super Worlds, your stars in SMW1 levels and cards in SMB3 levels to be tracked, with the same rewards the original games had -Penalties for certain degenerate behaviors in multiplayer -Boomerang and Fire Bros., and Pom-Pom, in all styles Also, Super Mario World 2 style, but that's probably a long shot... Quicksand isn't a liquid. Also, it doesn't typically appear in deserts in real life. D:
Things I would like to see in Super Mario Maker 3 -Costume mushrooms(from Smm1) -Tower background -Beach background -Volcano background -Mountain theme -New train background(for 3d World) -Ice flower -Blue shell -Hammer suit -Gold flower -Duplex cherries(3d World) -Tanookie suit(3d World or all styles) -Dry Bowser(All styles) -Fury Bowser(3d World) -Boomerang,Ice,and Fire bros in all styles -Star coins(for super worlds) -Better super world. customizations(secret roads, warp cannons) -Secret flagpole(to make the option above possible) -Illusions(fake flagpole, fake pipe, fake warpbox, fake one-ups[or all powerups]) -Baby yoshis and adults -Hidden passages(secret walls,as on the video) -Boss doors
The costume mushrooms from SMM1 didn’t return in the sequel because they lost a lot of the licenses to third party characters, they would have to renew them or just limit them to Nintendo characters. Also, multiplayer would ruin this but it can easily be fixed by a little OG character icon next to someone with a costume.
I hope we get some stuff from the Wario World/Land series and more stuff from Mario Land. Also I'd like new playable characters to choose from such as Daisy, Waluigi, Peach and Wario as well as new Bosses like Wart, Smithy, Kammy and Tatanga. Also maybe an 8 player crazy mode for those who like playing multiplayer.
I would like to see the following: - THE GODDAMN ICE FLOWER???? LIKE HOW COULD NINTENDO MISS OUT ON SUCH A GOOD ITEM??? - The mini shroom as well, like, duh. - New level aesthetics. I'd like to see a mountain theme, a beach theme, and a volcano theme as well (think of World 8) - New game aesthetics. You know which ones would I love to see? A Super Mario DS style, and a 3DS one too. And for special aesthetics, c'mon, a Super Mario 64 one would be absolute gold. - Balance rope platforms, as seen in Nintendo DS. You can place the rope tie points, then drag a line between two tie points to create a rope in between. - Boss battle doors, a third area where you can place a Koopaling (or any other enemy) and give the enemy the goal requirement, so that you can have boss battles without having to add keys that could kinda ruin the feel. - Merry-go-round platforms, as seen in many forest levels. Be them automatic or weight-guided, they could make a cool add-on. - Coin silhouettes could make a great extra too. Those you need to walk on first before you can pick them.
Placable Koopa Shells, similar to ones in Mario World, but placable in edit mode. This can be useful for when you need to have Mario hold a shell, but you don't want him to put it on his head, Koopa shell can do that
The reason level downloading was removed was because a lot of people used the feature to steal levels by adding or removing single blocks, then reuploading
I mostly want more course themes and more than 2 areas. I also want multiple music options for each course theme. More course save slots would be great too. It definitely needs a course search.
My thing I wanna see in super Mario maker 3? The waddlewing! These guys have the cool ability to pick up items, glide to places, and are all around adorable little guys. Also can't forget the wall clinging. They are very unique and I would want to see them.
Some quality of life thing and features I would like to see in SMM3: Super Worlds Misc. - Running out of lives actually, you know... matters - Allow levels to be replayed (kind of a given with secret exits) - Allow players to move back and forth between individual worlds - Allow powerups to carry over between levels (only really practical if its possible to make super world exclusive levels) Level Types - The ability to classify a level as single player, multiplayer verses, co-op, endless, super world, etc. If the level isn't classified as being for a particular game type, it won't show up in the respective library. For instance, a level that is only marked for super worlds will only be findable/playable within a super world. Level Privacy Options - Allow levels to be posted privately, playable by code only, etc. This would allow creators to tentatively post levels for getting feedback, and allow people to post levels meant for only them and their friends. More in depth like/dislike system - Give players more options than like/dislike. A level could be really good for one game type, but not another. Give the player an option to choose what game types it would be best suited for, or like/dislike it based on the game types individually. Really, just something to differentiate. Scroll Stop - Have scroll stop operate separately from walls. Allow for the creation of scroll barriers that work independently from walls, so you don't have to make a wall spanning the entire level.
Multiple checkpoints, one world/subworld. Should be 3 per world/subworld. Remove super world level-per-world limit. Way too limiting. Unlimited sub-worlds. For secrets and boss rushes, or the like. When configuring a pipe to go into a subworld, you choose an existing one, or create a new one. Enemy death triggers. For example, when a boss is defeated, make a pipe pop up. Multi-clear conditions. Choose more than 1 clear condition at once. Flag movement. Move it along the world, as well as choose to put it in a subworld.
You could probably make a whole video about new fluid features for SMM3. I think the main reason they haven't added a beach theme is because it would basically be a re-skin of the forest water theme. To make the beach theme different, I think the water should flow back and forth, or constantly in one direction like in Yoshi's Island 4 in SMW. I would also love to see the dolphins and buoyant platforms return. Plessie could also be added for riding along water, similar to the drybones shell, but faster and with other unique abilities. As for other fluid mechanics, water-shooting pipes should be added as an extra obstacle in underwater levels and as geysers above water. I could imagine some really cool levels where you need to turn the water off with an on/off block or a p-switch.
I’d really like to see more added to the super world. Here’s some of my ideas. 1) Checkpoints, so if a player loses all of their lives, if they passed a checkpoint flag on the map, they’d spawn back there. 2) More themes! (These would all apply for levels too). The ones I’d want would be beach, mountain, autumn, and those cool haunted levels from the Wii U game. 3) More level icons for the actual level points, some unique to each theme (maybe like a pyramid for desert for example). 4) Bigger maps. 5) Secret exits, that could be placed in sub areas. The secret exit could open up a passage that would only be available from that exit. 6) Points that only let players pass through after clearing a certain level. So you’d have to go to go back into the past level, find the secret exit, and then the level that opens up from that could give access to the castle or something. I feel these would all add to the layout, theming, and world design greatly!
I really like the idea of a secret exit, I think it should be in a third subworld, the subworld could have it's own special attributes like a vertical layout with a flag at the top or bottom. I do like the idea of semi-solids that you can hide behind. I think they should work on giving built-in clues to hidden things, like making invisible blocks "shimmer" when you are near them, and giving the hidden areas a controller vibration effect when you are near, and making enemies inside a hidden area cast a shadow when you are near the hidden area, for a clever way to both clue the player in to potential danger as well as showing off where a hidden area is. That way they feel less "dev route-ish" add to this invisible coins that must be passed through twice to pick up,
The two things I need the most in Super Mario Maker 3 are playable Peach, doubled level width and height limit, and 4 sub-areas. Playable Peach would be just aesthetic obviously, since Luigi and Toad play the same as Mario
Othercat: a cat that can alter several things, such as move sets, events, and even night gimmicks. She can add meteors, make it rain, grant you power ups for the start of the level, even alter the timer for p-switches/stars.
The only two blocks I need to have: One that Mario can go through and enemies can’t And the reverse Just adding this small thing would help so, so much
They also have to add the cliff World from the New super mario bros wii or mix two World like in the New super mario bros 2 in the 3rd World was the beach and forest World together.
I’d like to be able to have more level slots in coursebot, especially since if you want to make a whole game in Super World Maker, you’ll have made 40 of the ≈60-80 levels. Also worlds having more themes and game themes
@Smashy: In Super Mario maker 2 I hate the fact that you can't lock a pipe from going back in, without disabling the other one in the main part of the level, it kind of force you to make the level ugly to prevent the player for going into that pipe, however when they just come out of the pipe they can still go in an that is the problem. So In Super mario maker 3 one way pipe should be made seperatly if it is too glitch to make one by enter mario into a pipe, and disabling one side. Also a way to make a pipe that if you go back in, it goes in a different area that cause progression and not going back ward. This one would be unlikely that they would implement 2 sub world the 2nd sub world max length could be half, so it does not make the level too long. This is also unlikely but I would really like this to be in Super mario maker 3, when makeing a sub world you can change the game style, like for example if the main level is Super mario bros. U you go in the pipe and it is Super mario bros. style, and then you can wall jump in super mario bros. style because the main part of the level was Super mario bros.U, and also in Super mario bros.U if you have the acorn power-up and flying squirl mario enter a pipe, he would be flying squirl in Super mario bros. However if the main style in Super mario bros. and the sub level is Super mario bros. U you can only wall jump when your in Super mario bros. u, also in that case it would be possible to bring Super mario bros.2 mario into Super mario bros. U, as long as you take the super mario bros.2 mushroom in Super mario bros. style first. And so on. This one could be more likely the mega mushroom, the big mushroom is not the same think. I know that the Big mushroom can do the same thing as the mega mushroom but you can take damage from enemies so that is why it is not the same as a mega mushroom, and of course the mega mushroom would only last for a limited amount of time.
Some of these like the star coins or hidden exists are stuff that i don't think that they could be added to the game due to the fact that super world levels can be played outside the super worlds but everything else should be added
The hidden exits could be an alternative way to beat a normal level, just without something happening on the map in a Super World. Maybe there could be an achievement in SMM3 where you find a certain amount of secret exits.
Something I think should be added to SMM2 but probably will never be added is the option to go back in time, like in Braid, no more soft-locks because you'll be able to go back in time
The two importants main thing that we really need into Super Mario Maker 3 that Super Mario Maker Wii U have already unlike the 2 on Switch are: The return of costume mushroom for changed ourself as another rare playable characters costume and the online for free. To be honnest, from my side, I was really disappoint with Mario Maker 2 that we must pay the online for play custom level from others and send custom level and there wasn't any update about add costume mushroom for play as random Nintendo characters and others characters unlike the Wii U version who was for free and have costume mushroom. I don't understand why people say the Wii U version of Mario Maker was less good than the 2 on Switch. It just like Mario Party Superstars who have disappoint me too for the lack of playable characters unlike Super Mario party who was so good for finally have Bowser as a ordinary playable Mario characters and be playable into all and every mini games. Same thing, I don't understand the logic about why people hate so much Super Mario Party and say Superstar was better when there is a big lack of playable characters. No Bowser? No Bowser Jr? No Pom Pom? No Dry Bones? No Boo? And Superstar is supposed be better than Super Mario Party? (rolling eyes) Jeez...
You already mentioned some of the things I want the most with the return of bookmarks and the ability to download levels and look at them in editor. I also totally agree with you on more Yoshi options. Other than that, I would like to see the helicopter and submarine transformation boxes from Yoshi's island.
something i see with alot of these videos is that they dont go over stuff that everyone has complained about like level length and the amount of subzones
Not disagreeing with you here, but that would have been a really dumb reason to remove the feature just because it ruins one level type. What I think they should have done instead if they wanted to preserve the challenge of puzzle levels (assuming that was the reason) was just make it so that levels with that tag cant be looked at, and everything else can.
I feel like if they do a 3rd one, they should really update the world editor, there’s a lot of things missing. Bigger map, more levels, secret levels, actual game overs, more decorations, world skips, bonus worlds, there’s a lot that should be focused on
I've always wanted the timer so we could have low timed levels that the player will have to increase themselves. I'm honestly surprised it hasn't made it yet.
Or make an option for the timer increasing more than 500 seconds. Good, for long layout puzzle stages, so you don't get an time's up death, for taking too long punishment...😅
SMM3 needs the Outside and Volcano theme. Just imagine how stressful the stages can be with huge lava rocks falling from the sky. And let's not talk about the music which is one of my favorites.
Wat ik wil is die planten waar je op kan klimmen en drijfzand en schiet buizen maar als je klim/valt of weg geschoten word dat je naar geheime plek gaat dus dit 4:31
I don't understand why you would like Star Coins and Secret Exists since they would not make sens while playing levels individually. That would only have a purpose in the Super World modes... But I can't even imagine a use for the star coins.
A List Of The Things I Want In SMM3 (not mentioned in the video) - Text Boxes From SM3 - Multiple Clear Conditions - Mystery Mushrooms (Costumes) From SMM1 - Enemy Configuring Option (For Example : Hammer Bros - Hammer Speed : 9 BPS (Blocks Per Second,) or Accuracy : 1 - 10 (Aim) - Mario Odyssey Game mode - More Unlock able Power-ups I Might Edit This More to store more ideas
4:12 - 4:44 There's a part of me that says "NO! Can you IMAGINE what the Little Timmys would do with that?!?!!", but on closer examination, they can already do garbage with the tools they have, so you may as well let benevolent people have access to it as well. Also, why didn't you bring up the Ice Flower? Kaizo levels where you freeze a Banzai Bill or giant Piranha Plant and then jump off it using the split second you get while the enemy is frozen would be super cool, and that's just one example.
They should add an option for a health bar so if you wanna build a level around a specific powerup so if you get hit you lose hp instead of powerups. Characters should have special abilities for example Luigi jumps higher but he also slides to a stop. kinda like New Super Luigi U
I think that star coins would be good for when you're making super worlds. I also think Super worlds should have levels you unlock by collecting a certain number of star coins, and also you should be able to put secret exits in levels to unlock a secret path in super worlds.
We could definitely have even bigger courses that could be 5 sections longer in both the main and sub areas (Which also goes with the vertical sections) and can have timers set to up to 600 seconds from this, as the New series has courses longer than the ones in Super Mario Maker. Maybe even Message Blocks could help and would do better than the dev having comments there, and can have double the characters of what a comment would, but the dev can only have 10 in a course at anytime. They could even add another sub world (which will have a 3) that can be set to have a secret exit or not and will allow the dev to have another course theme, and is much better to use for transition pipes where if it's in the wrong theme there would need to be another pipe, this fixes that to make them more seamless. It would be really great to also have Super Worlds have a max placeable Course Counter upgraded from 4 to 6, and also being able to expand the world map to a movable 6 x 9 tile area, and with Game Overs sending you back to the beginning of the world you were on unless you have a checkpoint where if they Game Over but have touched the world checkpoint, they'll be able to continue from there with all courses cleared before touching the checkpoint staying cleared. All others will become unbeaten, similar to some Mario games. Hopefully once the worlds are made bigger and better I could actually add split paths to my Super World, as this gives the player choice over what to pick and also have Course Display Names; which is what a course's name will display as in a Super World. They could even add secret paths if the course has a secret exit (Secret exits require their own clear check to have their paths) and any stuff on the path (Along with the path itself!) will stay hidden until the secret exit goal is cleared. This would make for amazing super worlds as these would allow people to backtrack and see what they can find. Thank you for reading this comment. Now claim your "I read this entire comment a week after this comment was made" ticket here. Thanks for reading all this if you did! :D
I would love to see Yellow Koopa especially when he enters the shell & starts chasing you & other Mario related enemies. I wish all the game styles could wall jump. It would look amazing
All of these ideas sound awesome! Some of them would only work in Super Worlds but that's totally fine. But if they add all of these things then I still want 2 enemies: Urchin and Chargin' Chuck (Of course counting it's brothers and sisters from SMW).
2:57 If they made this they'd have to revamp super worlds: first you'd need to be able to replay levels and the super world after beating it, secondly, There should be a meter telling you how many you collected so far (Like, 🏅 8/17) and possibly also for Pink coins or the creato could CHOOSE the timer Like a percentage or Nothing At all
I hope when super Mario make 3 comes out, there will be a way to transfer level/worlds from Smm2 to Smm3 because that would came in handy a LOT(if you transfer worlds it will also take the levels in the world from “Super Mario maker 2” to “Super Mario Maker 3

How about extending the map so there is another tile on the other side of the castles in SMB1 & NSMBU?

- Can make normal enemies into cool mini-boss fights.

They could add quicksand in smm3 as a night variation of the desert. If that would be added they could add a way choose if to have wind or quicksand.
Or just make quick sand in general in all the styles!
I think water, lava, quicksand and poison should be placeable so there can be more night effects

Want to cut down on time?
How about a rewind feature?
As you go to upload the stage and miss that jump, instead of starting over you rewind a bit to the previous "safe point" and continue from there. I think a rewind feature would come in handy for uploaders.
Sounds intresting, just like how the rewind feature in Pushmo series works...🤔😅
I'm not sure what that is. Another video game series?
There needs to be a beach theme. Idk why it was left out, it had one of the best music tracks imo.
And maybe there's a feature where you can change the type of liquids in a course?
A poisonous desert?
An underwater volcano??
That sounds like a wonderful idea-
I'd love to see more lift options. I'm talking the spinning ferris lifts (and the variant where you have to pedal them from nsmbw) the balance lifts with the ropes connecting them seen even in the original smb, and also lift spawners so we can finally faithfully recreate 1-2
My top 10:
-Pipe, volcano, and beach themes
-Super Mario Bros. 2 style
-Super Mario Land 2 style
-Tanooki and Hammer Suits
-Mini Mushroom
-Blue and yellow Koopas, and the appropriate Yoshis
-Fences
-In Super Worlds, your stars in SMW1 levels and cards in SMB3 levels to be tracked, with the same rewards the original games had
-Penalties for certain degenerate behaviors in multiplayer
-Boomerang and Fire Bros., and Pom-Pom, in all styles
Also, Super Mario World 2 style, but that's probably a long shot...
Quicksand isn't a liquid. Also, it doesn't typically appear in deserts in real life. D:
i agree! they should also add Super Mario Oddyessy aswell and update 3D World to be 3D
Things I would like to see in Super Mario Maker 3
-Costume mushrooms(from Smm1)
-Tower background
-Beach background
-Volcano background
-Mountain theme
-New train background(for 3d World)
-Ice flower
-Blue shell
-Hammer suit
-Gold flower
-Duplex cherries(3d World)
-Tanookie suit(3d World or all styles)
-Dry Bowser(All styles)
-Fury Bowser(3d World)
-Boomerang,Ice,and Fire bros in all styles
-Star coins(for super worlds)
-Better super world.
customizations(secret roads,warp cannons)
-Secret flagpole(to make the option above possible)
-Illusions(fake flagpole,fake pipe,fake warpbox,fake one-ups[or all powerups])
-Baby yoshis and adults
-Hidden passages(secret walls,as on the video)
-Boss doors
Most of these course parts ideas sound good for traditional levels
The sand one it's like in sonic 3 & knuckles in sandopolis zone.
I would like to see the following:
- THE GODDAMN ICE FLOWER???? LIKE HOW COULD NINTENDO MISS OUT ON SUCH A GOOD ITEM???
- The mini shroom as well, like, duh.
- New level aesthetics. I'd like to see a mountain theme, a beach theme, and a volcano theme as well (think of World 8)
- New game aesthetics.
I think that big koopa cars should become the bowser car in 3d world.
The ability to put the course exit on a screen other than the first one would be nice too
My thing I wanna see in super Mario maker 3? The waddlewing! These guys have the cool ability to pick up items, glide to places, and are all around adorable little guys. Also can't forget the wall clinging. They are very unique and I would want to see them.
Some quality of life thing and features I would like to see in SMM3:
Super Worlds Misc.
- Running out of lives actually, you know... matters
- Allow levels to be replayed (kind of a given with secret exits)
- Allow players to move back and forth between individual worlds
- Allow powerups to carry over between levels (only really practical if its possible to make super world exclusive levels)
Level Types
- The ability to classify a level as single player, multiplayer verses, co-op, endless, super world, etc. If the level isn't classified as being for a particular game type, it won't show up in the respective library. For instance, a level that is only marked for super worlds will only be findable/playable within a super world.
Level Privacy Options
- Allow levels to be posted privately, playable by code only, etc. This would allow creators to tentatively post levels for getting feedback, and allow people to post levels meant for only them and their friends.
More in depth like/dislike system
- Give players more options than like/dislike. A level could be really good for one game type, but not another. Give the player an option to choose what game types it would be best suited for, or like/dislike it based on the game types individually. Really, just something to differentiate.
Scroll Stop
- Have scroll stop operate separately from walls.
I would love to be able to make secret passages with false walls like in NSMBW
SAME
I remember playing in super Mario bros U and just falling to my death because the floor was fake in an underwater level
@@Paradoxe_0 Wait, really? 🤔
@@IvanFranco120 yeah i was doing something else and didn’t notice I was falling to my death.
Pretty sure the level was 3-2
@@Paradoxe_0 Oh...
If super worlds can have checkpoints and SMW-ish secret exits...
THEN WE CAN HAVE CP1 TROLLS ON A SUPER WORLD MAP!
I’m planning on making a video on how Super Worlds should be improved. These are good ideas indeed!
4:41 "Or even getting sucked down by a whirlpool" *Looses a life*
That wasn't even intencional, lol. 😅
That way they feel less "dev route-ish"
add to this invisible coins that must be passed through twice to pick up,
I just hope we actually GET Mario Maker 3. 😭
I want to see the Australia theme with huge spiders
The two things I need the most in Super Mario Maker 3 are playable Peach, doubled level width and height limit, and 4 sub-areas.
Playable Peach would be just aesthetic obviously, since Luigi and Toad play the same as Mario
Super crown powerup. Turns Mario into Peach, Luigi to Daisy, blue Toad to Rosalina, and Toadette to either Peachette or Pauline.
I want a Super Mario Bros Wonder game style!
Othercat: a cat that can alter several things, such as move sets, events, and even night gimmicks.
She can add meteors, make it rain, grant you power ups for the start of the level, even alter the timer for p-switches/stars.
This has got to be the best suggestions for Mario maker 3 that I’ve seen!
I always thought this is stoopid that they didn’t added the "search level by name" yet. It’s so obvious
The only two blocks I need to have:
One that Mario can go through and enemies can’t
And the reverse
Just adding this small thing would help so, so much
Cant wait for Super Mario Maker 3D !!
True! I hope this does happen because this would expand Mario maker!
We need More enemies variety. Like some obscure ones. Maybe some exclusive to Mario Maker 3!
i want the fire enemies from mario 3 to come back
would probably allow simpler contraptions than boos
@@PipesTheVlob Fire Snakes?
@@Louie_Log no i mean the small guys who are just boos that dont fly
@@PipesTheVlob Did you mean the ghosts on SM3DL/3DW? 🤔
Personally I think they absolutely need to add those walls that aren't walls, which normally lead to secrets
Ngl, baby yoshis are *_OP,_* they will ruin A trolls career...
_and that's why we need them_
@Smashy: In Super Mario maker 2 I hate the fact that you can't lock a pipe from going back in, without disabling the other one in the main part of the level, it kind of force you to make the level ugly to prevent the player for going into that pipe, however when they just come out of the pipe they can still go in an that is the problem.
4:13 also THIS IS SOMETHING THAT I WANTED SINCE SMM1 AND WAS ONE OF THE THINGS I EXPECTED ON SMM2 it was a big dissapointment that it wasn't
Ehh, the 1-up mushroom is useless outside of Super Worlds, challenges, and Story Mode, so the star coins could also be like that
The hidden exits could be an alternative way to beat a normal level, just without something happening on the map in a Super World. Maybe there could be an achievement in SMM3 where you find a certain amount of secret exits.
Something I think should be added to SMM2 but probably will never be added is the option to go back in time, like in Braid, no more soft-locks because you'll be able to go back in time
🤔🤔🤔
I think the secret passageways are cool in main Mario games, but in Mario maker unfortunately would probably lead to horrendous dev routes
Yeah...
Maybe you could do some Mythbusters with Super Mario Construct !
Yeah, also on Yoshi Island Editor.
something i see with alot of these videos is that they dont go over stuff that everyone has complained about like level length and the amount of subzones
They took out the option to look through levels that you download because puzzle levels are ruined if you look at the level design
How about Top 5 Game Styles We Need in Super Mario Maker 3?
I feel like if they do a 3rd one, they should really update the world editor, there’s a lot of things missing. Bigger map, more levels, secret levels, actual game overs, more decorations, world skips, bonus worlds, there’s a lot that should be focused on
I don't think I ever knew the golden Yoshi could blind enemies: I just thought it was a light
It does...😅
I've always wanted the timer so we could have low timed levels that the player will have to increase themselves. I'm honestly surprised it hasn't made it yet.
Or make an option for the timer increasing more than 500 seconds. Good, for long layout puzzle stages, so you don't get an time's up death, for taking too long punishment...😅
WE. NEED. PORCUPUFFER. IN. ALL. GAME. STYLES.
super mario bros super mario bros 3 super mario world nsmbu
3:51 OMG, I can't believe that my superworld was showcased. Thank you :)
SMM3 needs the Outside and Volcano theme. Just imagine how stressful the stages can be with huge lava rocks falling from the sky. And let's not talk about the music which is one of my favorites.
Yeah, i like the NSMBW lava theme...
Though, NSMB lava theme is my favorite one. 😅
Secret exits are the best part of 100%ing Mario games. They definitely need to add those into SMM.
*SMM3*
@@IvanFranco120 It is still Mario Maker technically
@@jimmy_os Yes, but in the 3rd game.
4:41
Smashy implies there's a secret exit there
*dies*
I like to see the super mario maker 3
Wat ik wil is die planten waar je op kan klimmen en drijfzand en schiet buizen maar als je klim/valt of weg geschoten word dat je naar geheime plek gaat dus dit 4:31
Next year Smm2 will be 4 years old. I don't think we're getting a Mario maker 3 for switch 1.
I don't understand why you would like Star Coins and Secret Exists since they would not make sens while playing levels individually. That would only have a purpose in the Super World modes... But I can't even imagine a use for the star coins.
It would also work in individual levels in my opinion. Just searching them can be really fun.
@@SmashyYT Yeah and there can be achievements for finding a lot of them to make it even more fun
2:00 Bro idk why but that line was funny af
*10 things we need in Mario maker 2
I like videos like this. Let’s manifest SMM3!
😉
A List Of The Things I Want In SMM3 (not mentioned in the video)
- Text Boxes From SM3
- Multiple Clear Conditions
- Mystery Mushrooms (Costumes) From SMM1
- Enemy Configuring Option (For Example : Hammer Bros - Hammer Speed : 9 BPS (Blocks Per Second,) or Accuracy : 1 - 10 (Aim)
- Mario Odyssey Game mode
- More Unlock able Power-ups
I Might Edit This More to store more ideas
I want the ice flower in all game styles beside 3d world
4:12 - 4:44 There's a part of me that says "NO!
Mentioned the ice flower in a previous video ;)
A super mario land game style in color would be cool
Ice Luigi is the coolest.
We need secret exits on the map maker!
They probably hard to implement... 🤔
Charging chuck and ice flower
They should add an option for a health bar so if you wanna build a level around a specific powerup so if you get hit you lose hp instead of powerups. Characters should have special abilities for example Luigi jumps higher but he also slides to a stop. kinda like New Super Luigi U
I think that star coins would be good for when you're making super worlds. I also think Super worlds should have levels you unlock by collecting a certain number of star coins, and also you should be able to put secret exits in levels to unlock a secret path in super worlds.
Secret exits and the star coin system tracking, may be hard to implement...
@@IvanFranco120 I think they could do it if they really tried to
A mario ds needs to come
Actually a lot of those can be made currently!
Yeah, but its not 100% acuarate as the original games.
I remember watching a video a while back of things that people wanted to be in SMM2… guess we’re into SMM3 now.
#1 Bring back amiibos.
Thank you very much
Once i made a comment on a super mario world remix that went
The beat dropped so hard that even yellow yoshi was suprised
I read this entire comment 3 weeks after this comment was made
I would love to see Yellow Koopa especially when he enters the shell & starts chasing you & other Mario related enemies. I wish all the game styles could wall jump. It would look amazing
All of these ideas sound awesome! Some of them would only work in Super Worlds but that's totally fine. But if they add all of these things then I still want 2 enemies: Urchin and Chargin' Chuck (Of course counting it's brothers and sisters from SMW).
the false walls would create so much little timmy garbo and dumb trolls where wow fake ground!!!! haha, still great suggestions
2:16 Did you use the Mari0 AE editor for this scene?
Integrate super worlds from the beginning and include the ability to make secret exits.
If they make Mario Maker 3 that's all I want.
As an NSMBU fan I would love the baby Yoshis secret exits and star coins
I think it would be cool having like a pipe that doesn't take you to a second area but just take you to another part of the same area
2:57 If they made this they'd have to revamp super worlds: first you'd need to be able to replay levels and the super world after beating it, secondly,
There should be a meter telling you how many you collected so far (Like, 🏅 8/17) and possibly also for Pink coins or the creato could CHOOSE the timer Like a percentage or Nothing At all
i want everything in smm3 and also nintendo will add 10 updates
I hope when super Mario make 3 comes out, there will be a way to transfer level/worlds from Smm2 to Smm3 because that would came in handy a LOT(if you transfer worlds it will also take the levels in the world from “Super Mario maker 2” to “Super Mario Maker 3
