This actually the first realm rampage criticism that actually makes sense and feels like it took time and effort to make. But I wouldn’t say certain things make sense about it. I think the first thing that kinda bugs me is the zip line. Whenever they’re low, they go slower, and really can’t run away. The side dashes become awfully slow, and you can’t wall jump as good. So once you get them below 20%, you’ve basically won already. Another thing I didn’t get is the critic on fast healing (mostly). Like the video mentioned, the game actively promotes you wanting to get your health up. I think it’s because when you’re low you’re actively forced to play defensively, and if the healing had lag with it, you’d probably be forced into defense the whole fight. And it’d make the moments where you’re both on defense a lot longer and overall more boring. But it still is a valid criticism though.

The game was discontinued and it is unknown to me weather the creater is working on rr but either way this feels cheap. Goku was also copied but the owner mad the game he came from so to meit kinda eh. They very obviously stole some combat elements from other games and didn’t at all try to be original with their base combat. And your wrong as all the characters had 100% cobos within the first couple hours and they were really easy to pull off and hard to escape from if you’re only ok at battle grounds games like me. The dough guy only had combo extenders and after the update he got another one for his special. It really was way too overhyped and I’m very disappointed sadly.
i just have how every character except ichigo and madara are a copy of garou (attacks that grabs from the ground and ground only then u can dash foward to them)
The only similarities to realm rampage and jjs is the map design and sukunas R moves they took inspiration from jjs map and lots of other games do the same and realm rampage map is much bigger so it isnt lazy the maps arent even similar except to two very similar towers with a bridge in the middle it being a jjs inspired game and the map design and sukunas r being the only things it copied is good idk why people say they feel like they're playing jjs from the map that makes so sense its not like it copied the game exactly rr destruction is better it is multi anime it has cool features that jjs doesnt have its such a a dumb argument and im tired of hearing it
games alright, but i think that the characters are just.. sort of the same with a different look to them. what keeps me playing JJS is that every character feels unique and has a dedicated style, whilist RR characters just.. sort of have cool looking grapple moves? if it was more optimized and characters were more unique i think it'd 100% be better than JJS, since the combats good

2:30 nah there’s rail cooldowns, lower hp less movement speed ( for rails too ), and now as of this update if ur below 30 hp u can’t ride on rails. 4:40 also now every character has an R special. 6:33 exactly. Istg there’s this jjs like battlegrounds game called All Around Sheninagoons and in there discord server, there is a guy who is the owner of Draconic battlegrounds. What u said reminded me of what the owner said “I should update because RR updated”. For devs it’s all about competition and it’s either for good or bad.

Theres so many things the devs could do to make the game more interesting. a few ideas i came up with Barrage clashing (reduces barrage attack dmg for 2 players when using a barrage attack at the same time simlar to YBA Road Roller counter, using a barrage move to slow down DIO's road roller for a moment to escape or reduce dmg Time stop movement, if they add more characters with time stop abilities they should make it so that time stop based characters like DIO have 2 seconds of movement during other peoples time stop
It's unbalanced And each character has identical Combo extender, except goku (which is from Ki battlegrounds) And easy combos Which makes it kinda boring for experienced players But it has big potential, if the dev fixes all of the problems It would be great

I love the game a lot but i have one problem with it that no one talks about...its the ragdoll cancel cooldown, like it takes a full min for it to be avaible again and that plenty amount of time for ur health to go from green to orange
Hot take: The movesets are uninspired and unoriginal. Other BG games at least try to add a decent level of variety in the Moveset's Skill Types, while JJS has nothing but variety - for better or for worse (cough cough, Mahito). But Realm Rampage has none of that, literally nearly every move is a Grab Cutscene-Attack that knockbacks the enemy - its a cheap and uncreative way to design a character. 80% of the whole roster skills are just Grabs that plays an automated skill... they were not even trying. EDIT: Also forgot to mention but like - yeah, no wonder this game released with 8 characters - they're all copy-pasted like that.

(Also side note before my yap session: Tze, the owner of JJS actually seem to love RR, he seems to be perfectly fine with them taking elements his game pioneered and inspiring their map off his. So people getting mad over "T-ThEy'Re CoPyIng JjJS!!!" are honestly a little braindead) The thing I hate about this game is how absoloutely terrible Sukuna's ultimate is. (And the parkour, as someone who cannot do parkour it's awful to fight someone who can. And yes; this is a skill issue.) Fire arrow has NO s. I wish the ground version had s, but the air version didn't to balance that out. Malevolent Shrine is dog water, it shouldn't be "Ok use it for background damage to apply pressure" Malevolent Shrine in JJK is literally, "If you get hit by it, you're dead. Unless You have an anti-domain technique, Sukuna is weakened or your name is Mahoraga" Another small issue, the domain has a barrier. A game with a destructible city. Adds Malevolent Shrine with a barrier. Really? Missed opportunity. Haki doesn't have a barrier, because it doesn't have one in the canon to my knowledge. (But I haven't seen one piece so correct me if I'm wrong) Yes Sukuna CAN give his domain a barrier when he wants to, but it's not beneficial for him unless he wants to have a proper domain clash. The only issue with it would be lag. But Sukuna's slashes in that game just delete parts instead of making them crumble so I don't see why it would be that laggy unless they changed that... Heaven: Stand or whatever that game's name is, does a much much better Malevolent Shrine. (Some of) The slashes actually fly out, as stated by Gojo the center of Malevolent Shrine is the shrine itself, so the slashes come from there. It fixes issues that others game have with open-barrier Malevolent Shrine (people just walking out of it) by slowing down the victim of it immensely, of course if you're on the edge of it, you can walk out of the range; but most people use moves like that to clash, meaning you'd be right in the center of the effective range, making you unable to escape. What that game does is make you personally stuck during Malevolent Shrine, so you can't use moves like fire arrow or Sukuna's other moves like in every other game. Too bad that game sucks. With these devs for RR they'd probably be open to changing it if they figured out how to balance it and reduce any lag. The community would just have to voice their opinions enough for it though or the devs would have to already have been thinking about it, then send out a poll like they've done for Goku (Goku's getting a rework and the devs asked if they should keep SSJ as his ult or make it another form. Unsurprisingly; Ultra Instinct is winning) But hey, it's cool enough, Sukuna can canonically use a barrier. Just a minor issue that I'm a little mad about, because re-creating the Shibuya incident would be sick. Too bad neither JJS or RR added barrierless Malevolent Shrine. Beggars can't really be choosers

game is good, but it was overhyped imo, and lets face it all bg games take inspiration from other bg games, you cant really be different in the bg style of games since it is a certain style of games, you cant really add more things that have not been done already. destruction? already done. special abilities? already done. wall combos? already done. you cant really change much or make your bg game unique or stand out, because the bg format is: 4 base moves, an ult bar that fills when dealing damage, when it fills and you activate it you get 4 ult moves that are considered unbalanced and broken compared to the base moves. and thats basically the main game, you dont have to add wall combos or destruction or special abilities, bg game makers do this to not make their game bland, boring and uninteresting.

I gott agree with a lot of points in this video. But, there's some stuff I want to add: •The combat for me personally feels weird. Not clunky, just weird. I can't fight and feel satisfied when I land a combo or even kill someone. It all feels too slow too (but that's probably because I played a lot of Heroes before Realm released). But, if there is a anti-teaming feature, it feels beyond useless and even feels like teaming is motivated. And maybe it's because I'm from Brazil (wich Roblox doesn't have servers for), or maybe because I use a very old Xbox One to play, maybe both, but the game is just so laggy that it feels impossible to play at times. And I like how there's a setting to make the game run smoother, but if I lower it, some attacks will become straight up invisible with no effects at all (for example: Sukuna's cleave rush thingy) •Also, I hate the fact the devs delayed the game SO MUCH just to launch with uncomplete characters without their r. It felt lazy from them and I was very disappointed. •And I personally wish the map was different. I don’t mind it being a city, but it feels too "JJS-y", and not something new. •The running on this game is absurd and the devs don’t seem to care at all about that since they haven't done anything so you can counter it, and they are going to add vehicles into the game, making it even easier to run. I have no ideia how this game will be in the future, but if they continue just taking inspiration from other games instead of adding their own spin to it and not fixing some issues I don’t feel like it'll go far. Also, it would be super cool seeing characters we never seen in a battlegrounds game before, like Taro Sakamoto from Sakamoto Days, Okarun from Dandadan, or even David from Cyberpunk with Adam Smasher being a PS+ character.

Fun Fact, Katakuri's moveset is almost an EXACT copy of the Anime Showdown moveset, in mode and most of the moves being taken from base from the game as well.
the game is pretty good if you include that it just came out, there will probably be better features, bugs will be fixed and it will be funnier as they update

in my opinion i played the game, the game is very good but its just uncreative (i also dont like that many characters releasing at once) the main reason why is because they reused the goku moveset, and the characters had nothing original in their base moveset and sometimes even in the awakening. HOWEVER, the combat is miles better than jjs's combat, i know its meant to just be fun but i enjoy a more tsb-style combat.
Idk what the TSB aspect of the combat is. The dashes feel sloppy, the parkour can be mad annoying and ults are pretty boosted imo, not enough counter attack if you don't have ult too.

Between Shadow Monarch and Katakuri having an One Shot combo on release, falling under the map multiples times, the optimization... I'm not an expert but it legit felt like no one played the game before release, sure they did an update afterwards but the release had too much issues (imo) for it to just be "oh well it just released".

I love the game a lot but i have one problem with it that no one talks about...its the ragdoll cancel cooldown, like it takes a full min for it to be avaible again and that plenty amount of time for ur health to go from green to orange
Hot take: The movesets are uninspired and unoriginal.
Other BG games at least try to add a decent level of variety in the Moveset's Skill Types, while JJS has nothing but variety - for better or for worse (cough cough, Mahito). But Realm Rampage has none of that, literally nearly every move is a Grab Cutscene-Attack that knockbacks the enemy - its a cheap and uncreative way to design a character. 80% of the whole roster skills are just Grabs that plays an automated skill... they were not even trying.
EDIT: Also forgot to mention but like - yeah, no wonder this game released with 8 characters - they're all copy-pasted like that.

The thing I hate about this game is how absoloutely terrible Sukuna's ultimate is. (And the parkour, as someone who cannot do parkour it's awful to fight someone who can. And yes; this is a skill issue.)

Yes Sukuna CAN give his domain a barrier when he wants to, but it's not beneficial for him unless he wants to have a proper domain clash.
The only issue with it would be lag.
But Sukuna's slashes in that game just delete parts instead of making them crumble so I don't see why it would be that laggy unless they changed that...
Heaven: Stand or whatever that game's name is, does a much much better Malevolent Shrine.
(Some of) The slashes actually fly out, as stated by Gojo the center of Malevolent Shrine is the shrine itself, so the slashes come from there.
It fixes issues that others game have with open-barrier Malevolent Shrine (people just walking out of it) by slowing down the victim of it immensely, of course if you're on the edge of it, you can walk out of the range; but most people use moves like that to clash, meaning you'd be right in the center of the effective range, making you unable to escape.
What that game does is make you personally stuck during Malevolent Shrine, so you can't use moves like fire arrow or Sukuna's other moves like in every other game.
Too bad that game sucks.
With these devs for RR they'd probably be open to changing it if they figured out how to balance it and reduce any lag.
The community would just have to voice their opinions enough for it though or the devs would have to already have been thinking about it, then send out a poll like they've done for Goku (Goku's getting a rework and the devs asked if they should keep SSJ as his ult or make it another form. Unsurprisingly; Ultra Instinct is winning)
But hey, it's cool enough, Sukuna can canonically use a barrier.

Realm rampage is just the same thing we've had but fused into one game, of course there's almost nothing new here, its EVERYTHING you liked into 1 game.
game is good, but it was overhyped imo, and lets face it all bg games take inspiration from other bg games, you cant really be different in the bg style of games since it is a certain style of games, you cant really add more things that have not been done already. destruction? already done. special abilities? already done. wall combos? already done. you cant really change much or make your bg game unique or stand out, because the bg format is: 4 base moves, an ult bar that fills when dealing damage, when it fills and you activate it you get 4 ult moves that are considered unbalanced and broken compared to the base moves. and thats basically the main game, you dont have to add wall combos or destruction or special abilities, bg game makers do this to not make their game bland, boring and uninteresting.

i cant tell you the amount of hate i got when i saw jjs channel complaining about realm rampage and i said "oh i found it fun" and they be clowning me for my opinion like ya i said I found it fun NOT EVERYONE 😭
I gott agree with a lot of points in this video. But, there's some stuff I want to add:
•The combat for me personally feels weird. Not clunky, just weird. I can't fight and feel satisfied when I land a combo or even kill someone. It all feels too slow too (but that's probably because I played a lot of Heroes before Realm released). But, if there is a anti-teaming feature, it feels beyond useless and even feels like teaming is motivated. And maybe it's because I'm from Brazil (wich Roblox doesn't have servers for), or maybe because I use a very old Xbox One to play, maybe both, but the game is just so laggy that it feels impossible to play at times. And I like how there's a setting to make the game run smoother, but if I lower it, some attacks will become straight up invisible with no effects at all (for example: Sukuna's cleave rush thingy)
•Also, I hate the fact the devs delayed the game SO MUCH just to launch with uncomplete characters without their r. It felt lazy from them and I was very disappointed.
•And I personally wish the map was different. I don’t mind it being a city, but it feels too "JJS-y", and not something new.
•The running on this game is absurd and the devs don’t seem to care at all about that since they haven't done anything so you can counter it, and they are going to add vehicles into the game, making it even easier to run.
I have no ideia how this game will be in the future, but if they continue just taking inspiration from other games instead of adding their own spin to it and not fixing some issues I don’t feel like it'll go far. Also, it would be super cool seeing characters we never seen in a battlegrounds game before, like Taro Sakamoto from Sakamoto Days, Okarun from Dandadan, or even David from Cyberpunk with Adam Smasher being a PS+ character.
I hate the combat system cuz when I use dash he swings his arm for so long people just block it or start m1 me why the hell everyone’s dash hits and mine just freezes and when I m1ed some guy just dashed out of my m1 combo -_-

The game is like a 7/10 maybe 8 cuz of the quality, but the map size and no unique mechanics that NO other battlegrounds game has kinda makes it a bit boring, like they could’ve thought of something, I guess other than the skins, but that’s not really a mechanic like R special that doesn’t require you to do anything but press a button, but enough with the yap, the games WAY to overhyped

i played the game, the game is very good but its just uncreative (i also dont like that many characters releasing at once)
the main reason why is because they reused the goku moveset, and the characters had nothing original in their base moveset and sometimes even in the awakening.
HOWEVER, the combat is miles better than jjs's combat, i know its meant to just be fun but i enjoy a more tsb-style combat.
Idk what the TSB aspect of the combat is. The dashes feel sloppy, the parkour can be mad annoying and ults are pretty boosted imo, not enough counter attack if you don't have ult too.

Something I just hate with the RR community is how they constantly defend the game with "oh well, it just released, so of course it's gonna have tons of issues !", to which I say no.
Literally the owner of the game said he'd delay the game if he wanted to, no one rushed him to release.

I'm not an expert but it legit felt like no one played the game before release, sure they did an update afterwards but the release had too much issues (imo) for it to just be "oh well it just released".
