late one cold night in BK i was feeling fed up with a lot of things in my life, so i picked up the white stratocaster that’s with me everywhere i go. this song flowed out in 30 minutes with a kinda deranged chaos i’ve never really felt before. i kept all the guitar and vocals takes from that demo because they captured a moment of truth that’s at the heart of rock for me.

I just love how the beat fits with the sounds of the guns and shit. It's so organized and so creative. We haven't even heard the song that's in the probable cinematic skag intro yet.
How the hell isn't he famous already!? He is super talented. And then some people are famous basically just for existing. It's so unfair. So glad Spotify put this song in their playlist "Walk like a badass" or i wouldnt have found about him. And have to say that I immediately became a fan and can't wait more stuff from him.
Edit: Just found out that he has gotten 0,7 million listeners in 1 month so he luckily he is a lot bigger in Spotify most likely because Spotify has put his songs in their playlist. I am very happy to see that and have respect for Spotify for giving a less known artist more exposure.

I stumbled onto this band at Kaaboo. My options were Duran Duran and Mumford & Sons. I was underwhelmed by DD, and went to go find M&F when I heard what sounded like Elvis singing elegant punk, and I was hooked. The crowd was small, but everyone in it was FLOORED. We kept looking at each other and commenting that the crowds who were missing this show to watch the other two bands had no idea that they just missed the most epic show at Kaaboo, and possibly ever. I’m not kidding. They had so much presence - it was hands down - the best show I’ve ever been to in my life.
