Walking Tour Xanthi Old Town - Greece

Today we are walking in these streets of Xanthi. Xanthi's historic old town has many beautiful and old buildings. The city was within the borders of the empire for many years during the Ottoman period. For this reason there are many buildings belonging to that period. Xanthi's side streets are quite narrow and cobbled. You can see the old Ottoman architecture and the buildings with bay windows everywhere in this city.
As a typical Greek culture, people like to drink coffee on the streets and eat in restaurants. People are having a good time in these beautiful streets. We see one of the busy streets in the Old Town. Of course, there are also many restaurants, cafes and bars here. Usually young people come here especially on weekdays and weekends.
