    This was really useful - I had not used Minitab for along time and needed to check a Weibull report someone had made - it was wrong!

      Good to hear that. Not always Weibull is the best choice, this is something that always see in the industry.

    Hi Jorge, Thanks for the video. It was really helpful.
    I have a question, when you were discussing CDF plot, you mentioned that 5% of the vehicles WILL fail for 10000 miles. But because it is a distribution fitted on the existing dataset, CDF tells that 5% of failures HAD happened before 10000 miles right? It tells the behavior of the current dataset right!?

      Sorry for the late response on this, it is correct to make the statement that we will get 5.7% failures before 10000 because at the end this also apply for the future units that will be produce until a change it is been made.

    Hi there Jorge...!!! May I ask you something? Which one is the reason to accumulate the TTF when we analyze data on minitab? I been working in a reliability analysis and then when I intro my TTF (No accumulated) I got a result way different than if instead I would intro same data but accumulated. Any suggestions? and Thanks in advance.

    Hi Jorge, this a great learning, thanks for video. Request your guidance for my analysis. Actually i want to use weibull for my tool failure after producing some parts randomly. for example i will get some failure at different cumulative values like at 20, 80,120,500,1200,1500,5000. For me its no of failures for cumulative production. How i can use this weibull for my analysis.

    Thanks for this amazing video! Is it possible to run a 3-paremeters Weibull analysis in Minitab? How to? I have different samples undergoing stress in Newton. I know the exact second in which i have the failure.

    Thank you jorge .But how can we use Least square analysis for a censored data, we generally use MLE for censored data types, Yes based on sample size it is ok can you please give your views on this

      Hi, could we discuss about an specific example? All depends on you data sample.

      Hi, MLE works with almost 3 data but I will suggest to work with 10 or more.

    why in the exponential correlation coefficient the value is only * ?

    Thanks it was very useful..please I’m waiting for the video of lifetime reliability. Can we use minitab to compare the Bayesian estimation of reliability of normal distribution with another classical methods?

    Hola Jorge me gusto el video, podrias ayudarme con un analisis de una llanta. mi cliente tiene como tope 72T Kilometers sin problemas, pero tuve una ponchadura a 66T kilometers, pero tengo las otras 3 llantas que pasaron la prueba de 72Thousand Kilometers y por la que falla me pide hacer Weibull analisys para B10 y B50 en esa llanta, tengo mediciones de mis llantas cada 1000 kilometros

      Disculpa la tardanza en mi respuesta, con una sola falla y 3 datos censados es imposible realizar una predicción adecuada.

    Why you select not maximum likelihood but least square ?

      In this case because the quantity of censored or suspension data is very low, some times you have huge number of censored data and in this condition is better the maximum likehood
