So, in my language, a throw not a "throw blanket," since they are in the same family and it would be redundant, is smaller than a blanket and usually used more as a decoration you "throw" on the couch or at the foot of the bed on top of your quilt. Perhaps you curl up with it on the couch. A blanket is usually a little more thicker, you put it on your bed, it keeps you warm at night, some people intertwine quilt and blanket. I see blanket as bigger than a throw but not as puffy as a quilt myself.

The way in which she turned the blanket into another cushion a IS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!!!! NOT kidding!!!!!!!! When I was lucky enough to go on holiday to Nepal for a holiday when I was wee, I found out that you could buy REALLY NICE reversible, multicoloured jackets that could be turned into handbags as well.
