Someone on the WWF creative team came up with the idea for Stephanie McMahon to have a personal trainer, so the company brought Caryn Mower up from their developmental league to be that trainer, named “Muffy”. She cut one promo on TV and then apparently someone backstage realized that if Stephanie McMahon’s character needed a personal trainer, that would mean she was out of shape. So the Muffy character was immediately written off TV and never seen again.

@@kamiloalvarez5800 That’s right. They were originally supposed to be a women’s fitness duo, but then it was decided to separate them instead. The company put Trish Stratus with Test & Albert, and Caryn Mower with Stephanie McMahon as “Muffy”. Mower lasted all of one week on WWF TV and disappeared, while Stratus became one of the most celebrated women in the history of the company. What a crazy business.
