I used to live right near this siren but I've moved to wichita Kansas and we have a whole bunch of thunderbolts that are still working with no plans to replace im so happy
Lucky lol!! I'm not sure if Crystal Minnesota plans to replace this 3T22 anytime soon either do they? Well I'm not sure if you would know living in Kansas now lol! I've driven by it recently and it's still up and I assume it's still in good shape because there's been recent video uploads of it so I can't imagine it be replaced anytime soon. There's a few 3T22s in Coquet MN too aswell. A couple hours north of Crystal close towards Duluth. I learned that recently stopping by! I also don't live far from a Thunderbolt 1000T, Thunderbeam and two STH-10 sirens in Chisago County plus more from where that came from! An interesting area.
@@awesomegaming8617 i am back living in MN now in crystal still has the 3T22 and ive talked to my people there and there is no plan to replace it anytime soon as there is nothing wrong with it and they dont wanna spend the money. and ive seen all of those sirens in chisago county ive also found that they still have an EOWS612 out in i believe out in the mound area that is still in service. i personaly cant stand that everything is pretty much going to all FS 2001's
These sirens will always give me chills i can't imagine you're just hanging out and you hear this near a nuclear plant or something, you know you about to die...
The Crystal Police Department was rebuilt the area originally where the 3T22 was say reorganized and the as of September of 2023 I saw her and still stands loud and proud
ive talked to my people i know at the city of Crystal and they dont plan to replace this one anytime soon because its still working fine and they would rather save the money and that totally makes sense. i just drove by it yesterday afternoon
