Experiments are one of the most important tools in science. In many situations, they are the most direct way that scientists can test their hypotheses and theories. But what exactly is an experiment? What are scientists doing when they design and carry out experiments? In this video we’ll go over the main parts of an experiment, and some of the challenges that come up when trying to design one.
