@@DaSandwich21 yes
Well, because you need to be careful. What if he ended up playing another (super) GMs smurf? What if it's one who's playing up a new account on that platform?
Play the game and let the platform owners do the check later. Better than getting into an awkward situation.

That situation is exceedingly rare. I've observed thru play or observation upwards of 30k games and I don't recall ever quite seeing that sick of a triple checkmate threat. It was pretty amazing. Not an overstatement to say that, "chess isn't like that." That position was the exception that proves the rule.
Tbh that position was hectic.
Cheaters provide us some good content. If youre gonna cheat, please do so on stream in clear manner so you can entertain us
So true, I watched this on stream jazzyblue kept lying and trying to say he wasn't using engine. It is so obvious
Agreed. Cheaters make great content lol
It's the cheaters opponent who's making things interesting.
the guy even stopped for like 5 seconds (the time they transfer the move from whatever device they are using besides the one theyre playing the game) when a 1600 would obviously premove Re3#

@@ashina9091astral talk - kaast
"This one technique has GMs running for their money."
GMs are afraid of this unusual tactic.
GMs hate him! How one guy from Canada beat GMs with this weird trick.
Eric: “he’s playing great, He’s a rapid specialist”. lmao
What I personally dont understand is how people are letting their dislike for Eric cloud their judgement. The algorithm spotted the cheating and Eric played it cool. He said let the site do the investigation. They also don't understand how coaching works when you're playing online. If you have willing volunteers then it's not smurfing or cheating. They agreed to the rules, they would play an honest game and the coach and the student can discuss it. Now when the volunteer cheats it's obviously justified in banning him he played dishonestly and Eric and Dan played honestly.
"Having a GM right next to you, telling you what moves to make and what threats to look out for, which greatly influences your decisions, guiding you to make better moves that will win you the game isn't cheating." - ... Then what the fuck is it? It's like "Who wants to be a Millionaire", but you have some super-book-nerd by your side, telling you what the answers are, until you win.
The volunteers might agree to Dan using Eric to cheat, in the name of "coaching", but it's still cheating.
@@VG-fk6nk if this is against randoms then probably yeah you are right. But the opponents literally agreed to it beforehand. They can't claim Eric and Dan to be cheating after the game
@@shivasurya7008 I'll repeat myself:
Just because they knew, allowed and accepted cheating to happen, does not mean that it wasn't cheating.
It still was regular old scumbag cheating, with the only difference being that people accepted it.
@@VG-fk6nk Who cares tho. Both parties involved know what they were getting Into and both of them were happy with it. So why does it even matter?
@@shivasurya7008 I never said it matters, only that Cheating is Cheating.
As long as we all agree that all cheaters are cunts, and that both Dan and Eric are cheaters in the video, it's all good.

The little edit at 8:17 is one of the funniest most brilliant fuckin things I've ever seen. Jesus christ I enjoyed it.
lollll the closeups on their faces too
Love how it took them 4 seconds to play their final move. They probably didnt even see the checkmate in 1 without their engine.
Make Dan speak with a french accent and boom, you got MVL in the brah house

You guys had me genuinely laughing with the zoom and increasing in tense music at 8:10
lmao that one guy in chat made a good point. second to last game before that jazzyblue played mediocre at best, this game he played triple-checkmate in 7 calculated in in practically no time lmao
Good way to make fool of yourself on stream too, did he really think he can get away with it when Eric's literally right beside him, you're not impressing anybody buddy.
The look on Eric's face says it all when the move ng4 was played. There was no way out lmao...
lmao cant believe this guy has the face to go in chat and act like he's not cheating

That engine deserves a brilliancy prize, tho'. Mad stuff
I would destroy it with Lc0 on my GTX 1080.
8:15 depth = 1000😂😂😂
“I want this closed” “you played f4!”
he found that mate instantly. I'm 1800+ and I didn't see it until 2 seconds AFTER the cheater made the move.
I see the brotherhood of NOD, I upvote
Now I'm just curious as to how many mates an engine is able to threaten at once against a intermediate/beginner player
Usually just the one. Its pretty rare to threaten more than one mate, even with a good engine on good hardware against intermediate player. Against beginners, same story. Just one mate from big blunders.
@Felipe Sierra usually engines like stockfish can tell if mate is going to happen in 10 moves or not.
It depends on the position...
Threatening as many mates as possible isn't how engines work lol
"he is a Rapid specialist" yeah of course.
As soon as Ng4 I was like bruh really
Seems natural at that point though. Cuts the king off from everything
@@patstaysuckafreeboss8006 For a 700 blitz player to find? Not natural at all.

Edit: 8:29 😕
Honest question. How is it different from cheating with stockfish than having a grandmaster give you advice during a game?
@@ivegonemad303 because he’s not telling him the exact moves. He’s asking him and telling him ideas. Not moves. The other guy is still making all the decisions. Also, a GM isn’t flawless. Computers are.

That's kinda rough
Usually chess isn't like that
Lol😂😂
That's a mate pattern to memorize for later!

"He just played one of the nastiest moves possible"
Legit after that move you consider becoming a checkers player. That move is just chess savagery.

what is the point of cheating in online chess when there is no money or title at stake????
"Honey im home" dans opponent: "nah"
Is it jealousy that causes people to cheat in chess? Do they get some kind of satisfaction by watching an engine beat a good player? I am rated above 2100 on a few sites, and I can't count the number of times that I get a notice that points have been returned to me due to yet another cheater being caught.

One way to make sure a cheater never cheats again after getting caught is to cut their arms off :D It's so damn sad how many of these I see while I'm around 1850-1900 rated. So many clear cheats...
In the 1600's defense a 3,000 chessbrah is basically back seat driving this force of energy lol.
he knew that would be happening when he volunteered to play

Not going to lie, but the knight moves alone were very suspicious already...
Glad Mr Hoodie guy is finally revealed
Are you GUYS NOT A Cheater your helping that dude play
Chess aside i really appreciate your taste in music 🙏🏻🔥
Subtle cheater. 2-1-0 inaccuracy-mistake blunder. It’s actually a believable game for a 1600, although 71% best moves in a 39 move game is rare, but it happens too. I’ve had 1-0-0s with low ACPL and other games just like this in the past, albeit infrequently.
Chess.com algorithm must be very good to catch this guy.
The critical moments defines the difference between Masters and Regular players. At 7:57 you have to spot the whole sequence to checkmate which is at least a 2200+ tactic. I guarantee you 99% of players would play Rxc5 without thinking twice.
@@faznaz7455 Most players, most of the time, won’t see it. But if you’re familiar with combinations you’ll notice that you can set up the Arabian mate in only 2 moves (if Ra2+ Kf3 Ng4) or trap the king on back rank and win back the piece with check if Ra2+ Kg1 Rxg2+. These are actually short (2-3 move) sequences, and there is time to calculate them in a rapid game, and a 1600 would be capable. And combinational knowledge makes it much easier to see these things, it could be a strong point of his. And I would guess this is an 1800 level tactic.
Yes, you really must be looking for it. But it’s not at all unbelievable if he were just “on”. My guess is he had phenomenal games like this just too often and that’s why he got caught.
@@antichrist.superstar You are delusional, sir.

Near perfect game, against a stronger opponent than this. If I were playing on stream everyone would say I was cheating 🙄. Not my only game like this, yesterday or today.
The tactic in this game isn’t any harder to see. Don’t talk trash if you don’t know the game. You’re probably garbage if you think a 3 move sequence leading to a classic mate pattern is impossible to spot.

I don't get it, you get a chance to play on a stream of a GM, one of that you're a fan and then you cheat, seriously wtf!
i was in chat saying he was cheating , and everyone was like " this is why people dont want to play , they get called cheaters " , lol ( you can see me at 10:02 agftn )
People love defending cheaters because they want to cheat deep down inside too.
And these are the kinds that are so bad at cheating they can't even hide it, shame on anyone who doesn't acknowledge it. I could understand people defending GMs accused of cheating where they're subtle enough it's hard to detect (does happen occasionally) but a 1600 playing basically engine perfect chess is totally transparent.
@@CheapShotFail I’ve played games where I’ve had accuracy above 97%. It’s rare and has only happened twice in my years of online chess but it can happen. The only reason I think he’s cheating is how long he took. Unless he just wanted to be sure which I understand as well.
