All of you SEC fans will learn what us OU fans have always known… Texas ain’t shit, they suck. This happens every few years, they win a game or two and all of the sudden they hung the moon.
As a Mizzou fan, I was expecting to complain about Cook being ranked too low. I was certainly surprised. I have trouble saying he's the best in the SEC, but I sure hope you're right about the kind of year Cook is going to have. He doesn't have the top-level NFL arm talent, but he's a tough and smart leader, and that can get you pretty far at the college level.
@@johnparker8588 He wasn't the problem in any of those games. LSU-Baker wasn't aggressive on D because he was scared of Daniels. UGA-bad pick, I'll grant you, but the D didn't come to play in the 3rd Quarter and certain calls did NOT go in Mizzou's favor. OSU-top 2 D in the country with no opt outs of note on Defense. He made plays down the stretch when they had to have it. Cody was the man, but he was still a D-2 recruit for a reason. Scheme and OL had a fair role in Cody's success last year and the OL will be even better this year.
I’m totally fine with folks having opinions. But there has to be logic to base opinions. You dock Beck because he got “out dueled” by Milroe (which actually didn’t happen. Beck had more yards, better completion %, and a better QBR than Milroe in the SECCG…but Bama did win so give him credit) and discredit Beck for “struggling” in the SECCG (which again wasn’t exactly the case….but again Bama won the game). Regardless, that was 1 game out of 14 in his first year as a starter. Beck also out played and beat both your QBs you have ranked ahead of him. Why not give him credit for that instead of docking him for their 1 loss? I mean, you have Nico ranked just outside of the top 5 based off of 1 start and a ton of hype cause he’s yet to even play 1 SEC game much less a full season. Your logic is just flawed with these rankings. I have absolutely no issues where you want to rank Beck. Rank him last if you want. Doesn’t matter. But at the very least have some logic and consistency with your criteria.
You have got to be high to put Cook and Dart over Beck and Milroe. Carson Beck threw for more yards than anyone else in the SEC last year, more than Jayden Daniels. He had the second-best QBR in the league. You say that's because of Bowers, but Bowers had his least productive season last year due to injury. You know who had the third-best QBR, Jalen Milroe. Do you think Cook and Dart are going to somehow leap those two this year? You also don't seem to acknowledge the impact Cody Schrader had on Cook's numbers. Take Schrader out of Missouri's offense last year and every single defense is going to play a more pass-slanted scheme. You are low on Beck because of his performance in the Alabama game? How did Dart do against Georgia last year? He went 10-17 for 112 yards and 1 int. Not exactly Heisman numbers there Mike.
Floridas the first game then it’s Texas away, then we have a bye week then it’s Georgia. States not winning those games but it’s not as brutal as back to back weeks
LOL @ Beck at 3. When he is ripping defenses a new one left and right... we'll see. You really think Brady Cook is a better QB? Holy crap dude. Dart is good but the Dawgs made him look pedestrian in the game last year. And he is injury prone. He runs too often and doesn't protect himself. To be a good QB you have to be AVAILABLE. Still laughing. And you'll be red faced by mid season. Just damn...
Again the mizzou love is too much. Brady Cook is a good QB. Not elite. Hes more than likely gonna finished around 3 or 4th in SEC. I would love to be wrong though as a Mizzou fan.
Ewers has been hurt both season for many games....I think he has really played 1.5 seasons over the last 2. This kid is going to play great the third year in Sarks system.
Ala(Dynasty)Ole miss spent upwards of 20 mil on roster this yr alone,Mizz has one if not the best Offensive system,LSU shit Brian Kelly hasnt even had a dance sene get out yet! That should be a scary thought and he means business.... TX loses at least 3 games,OU same
I think the question isn’t really how ready for the SEC are the Sooners and Whornes rather how good is the Big 12 relative to SEC teams. I would argue that it’s a lot closer than many realize. Virtually any team in the SEC on any given year can and would have great difficulty at Okie Lite, Texas Tech, Kansas, Kansas State etc. No, the Big 12 is not as good overall but they usually have at least 4-6 teams that go to bowl games and beat all comers. OU has a tradition of winning and championships unmatched by any SEC teams except Bama. I truly believe that if you look deeply into college football history you Will find that that top 5 blue blood programs consist of in no particular order Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio st, Notre Dame, and USC. Texas, Nebraska, Michigan (yes Michigan), maybe Penn St, and Fla St make up the next tier and everyone else kinda falls in line in graduating scale. Make no bones about it. OU and as much as I hate to say it…..Texass have legitimate reasons why they will (possibly) instantly fit into the top echelon of the conference. I do feel as if there will be down years more often than in the Big 12 but I also feel as if both OU and Tex will win championships soon. Evidence lies within recruiting stats. OU has done nothing but improve their recruiting since announcing entry into the SEC. Many players that would never given the Sooners look are now simply due to conference realignment. I may be wrong but I don’t think so.
Remember how quickly Am and Missouri won in the SEC and they were not the best in the Big 12. Texas and Ou will be near the top of the conference most years.
Forget where it ends this year, im sure everyone gets a little bit if everyone else. If texas wins a few NC, they will have a higher payroll than NFL teams. 3 deep in 5 stars. Sec needs the lead in NIL reform.
At the end of the day, it will all get settled on the field. There’s absolutely no doubt the SEC is MUCH deeper than the Big 12… it will be a gauntlet for sure! WHAT DID THE DAWGS DO AT TENNESSEE
As a Mizzou fan, why do you guys want people to hate us?
#1 Video Game
#2 Player payed /right
#3 playoffs (12 teams )
#4 Texas And Oklahoma
There is no way this channel only has 21k subs. Subscribe people. As a Sooners fan, we love sports talk. Hit the button. P.S. Oklahoma fans expect to win 10 plus games just as much as Bama, LSU, Georgia, and the rest. This year will be tough, but make no mistake, Sooner fans will not be ok with going 7-5, 8-4 every year.
Hugh will escort Auburn to the playoffs
Well done!
That's funny. Don't care who you are
He might even catch some of them with their pants down…

I love auburn. I think it’s a sleeper team this year. They are killing it in the transfer portal and auburn is really doing something special over there
“Conner weigman can’t stay healthy” he’s literally been hurt once
All of you SEC fans will learn what us OU fans have always known… Texas ain’t shit, they suck. This happens every few years, they win a game or two and all of the sudden they hung the moon.
Arkansas on steroids.
1. NUSS
2. Ewers
3. Milroe
4. Beck
5. Dart

Lol Mildew ahead of Beck thats laughable
WHAT DID OLE MISS & DART DO AGAINST THE DAWGS LAST YEAR
War eagle will prove you guys wrong
That was last year, good luck in Oxford
Still lost 😂😂
Why does a player have to qualify academically when most players are only taking a minimum number of on line courses.
When is this SEC going to extend an invite to my Army-Black Knights to join? We could help the GPA
The Armed Forces are going to get worse & worse unfortunately b/c of NIL & the portal.

Yes, bring back the triple option.. it’s been gone ever since GT left.

Becks numbers are inflated by a cupcake schedule, the teams these quarterbacks played should come into the picture also
As a Mizzou fan, I was expecting to complain about Cook being ranked too low.
I was certainly surprised. I have trouble saying he's the best in the SEC, but I sure hope you're right about the kind of year Cook is going to have. He doesn't have the top-level NFL arm talent, but he's a tough and smart leader, and that can get you pretty far at the college level.
Not good against LSU , Ga, or Ohio State. Can’t handle big game pressure. Cody was the man.
Can’t wait to see Jackson Arnold
*angry cowbell noises*
I wish Payton Thorne would change his number to 14.
Is that how many loses he will have in his career at aubarn?14 sounds close to me.
"I ain't reading all that. I'm happy for u tho. Or sorry that happened."
Thunder Dome.
Who you got?
Hotty Toddy 🔵🔴🦈
Arkansas fans were so excited last year too. Green was not great at Boise so there is no way he is going to be great in sec.
Guys the 2 best WRs in the SEC are Trey Harris and Bru McCoy. Vandergriff has never started a college game.
Brady Cook Is AWESOME!
Yeah I am afraid I have to unsubscribe based on this list. Sorry.
Same with Texas!
Mike you may be wrong if you'll remember Levis won 10 games his 1st yr at Kentucky and dropped to 7 win's his 2nd yr
Kentucky changed offenses in Year 2 under Levis
So y’all have G Nussmeier 8th best in the SEC but he’s 8th in Heisman odds . Y’all killin me
Shane looks like he's lost some LBs. Let's go Shane!
Someone please tell mike that Mississippi states first conference game is Florida at home 😂
Shapen will exceed expectations
Yall are WILDLY DELUSIONAL for having Cook at #1 and Dart at #2
No doubt MSU is gonna score on people
I seriously doubt it’s going to change in one season. A bowl game is a win for State.
Wow I guess Mizzou is as good as the 2003 Trojans, the 85 Sooners and the 05 short horns. Can’t wait for the season to start to find out! BOOMER!
Again the mizzou love is too much. Brady Cook is a good QB. Not elite. Hes more than likely gonna finished around 3 or 4th in SEC. I would love to be wrong though as a Mizzou fan.
God I love you guys #miz
Ummm Respect will be Earned!
The G5 teams are in must win games every week if they want to make the playoffs unless they played a great P5 school and took an L.
The original big 12 was just like the sec is now the big 12 went down hill after Nebraska and Texas am left the conference
Quinn Ewers is overrated.
Lol
How so?
He went into Tuscaloosa and did what no other SEC QB has done in a decade to Alabama....yeah real overrated.
RE: Ewers … year 3 is when QBs have historically had their best year in Sark’s offense
I think that’s just something that happens for any college player at any position under any coach, actually.
Ewers has been hurt both season for many games....I think he has really played 1.5 seasons over the last 2. This kid is going to play great the third year in Sarks system.
Shapen never lost his job at Baylor..
Brady Cook? Seriously? LMAOO
Ala(Dynasty)Ole miss spent upwards of 20 mil on roster this yr alone,Mizz has one if not the best Offensive system,LSU shit Brian Kelly hasnt even had a dance sene get out yet! That should be a scary thought and he means business.... TX loses at least 3 games,OU same
Sec sec sec !!!!
this is a fairly crazy list
So basically you said you know nothing about Mississippi State roster or team!! Ok then
Not a whole lot to talk about with State at the moment. Best thing to do is wait on the season.
This is a good take. The SEC is king, but the Big 12 as been consistenly #2 since the year 2000, even after the exits of CU, NU, A&M, and Mizzou.
They will not become the new Ga or Al that is fucking crazy. Shits hard earned
Let him COOK #MIZ #ZOU
SEC chanters crack me up; especially the Aggies, whose biggest rival was Texas Tech in the B12.
Ause sec doesn't have vandy and miss st
Forget where it ends this year, im sure everyone gets a little bit if everyone else. If texas wins a few NC, they will have a higher payroll than NFL teams. 3 deep in 5 stars. Sec needs the lead in NIL reform.
