Canoeing the Saugeen River from Access 13 to Denny's Dam with Kids

We canoed 16 kilometers down the Saugeen River. We put our canoe in at Access Point 13 off of Bruce Road 17 near Port Elgin, Ontario, Canada. We paddled down to Denny's Dam where we took out our canoe and took the shuttle back to get our van at the stating point.
The river was absolutely beautiful throughout this section. It has been really dry this summer, but we were still able to run the whole river.

Yeah, the Thorncrest Outfitter's property is directly across the road from the parking lot at Denny's Dam.
