Have any physical, stationary cardano communities started to form yet? I find the whole “network state” with physical boundaries and protocols international recognition such a fascinating concept. Imagine a decentrally governed territory with its own internal economy on a giant seastead permanently in international waters.

@FesteringRatSuThe "top 10" is a bogus concept anyway. Stable coins like USDC and Tether shouldn't count. Centralized trash in top 10 as well.

Question: Would future applications of this tech allow people to spin up peer-to-peer game servers (e.g. CS), that, due to the immutability and record of each input, have effectively an unbreakable cheat detection system?

i don't understand why this is an edge case application, this 100% is a front runner application of hydra. cardano has an image problem with being "boring" integrating wtih the gaming industry should be taken seriously.
dont you end up paying tonnes of ada if you are transacting every second to play a game?

Afaik, being a layer2 means hydra is a different localised blockchain, so there could be zero network fees until the result of the head is confirmed and rolled up to the main cardano blockchain... but someone else might want to clarify that.
