He kinda looks like a mix of monster x and godzilla ultima
I do not understand what's going on with the Monsterarts team. The Figuarts group are putting out banger after banger (though I've heard bad things about their Berserk figures), the model kit group has been firing on all cylinders for close to a decade, and even the cheapo stuff like the Movie Monster series has been pretty already despite their limited budget. It makes me wonder why the quality control issues only really seem to be hitting the ones who are tasked with bringing one of the most important figures in Japanese pop culture to life.
I can't say that I know the answer... but when it comes to paint, it really is strange that everything that ISNT Godzilla seems to get the homerun hitters, most of the time.
While everything that IS Godzilla is more 50/50 than ordering Medium Rare steaks at a Pit-Fire BBQ. I don't think I've received a SHF with even half the problems an SHMA
Godzilla release has received. (I know they exist, somewhere). WHO KNOWS at the end of the day.
It could be the cost of tooling and assembly. It could be lesser control on certain orders.
Someone will find the answer someday
Well more people buy figuarts and they obviously have more budget than monster art 😢
@@ShinRobjiraIt's cause B list characters, when they make them, are a one and done so they put their ass into it to make sure they can be the one release for a while. Godzilla is the main guy so they're able to not put much effort into the main one, cause if they make it perfect, people won't buy more.
Now I don’t know much about Kaiju no.8 but all I know is that Kafka looks sick as hell
All you need to know, a total Tokusatsu nerd drew and wrote it.
And is now enjoying the success of a critically praised and selling Manga, with an Anime that's killing it per episode.

One of the best animes I've seen in wile with an opening the slaps HARD!!!!,as for the figures I'm holding out for hopefully a figma version;with the figuarts it seems like it should have came with flame effect parts for the arm.
If you would have told me 5 years ago that Yungblood and One Republic would put out simultaneous bangers for a shonen anime with a 30 y/o protagonist, I'd have called you a liar.
