Thanks for your quick Bible studies I've been reading the Bible one chapter at a time starting with the Book of Matthew and these videos have been helpful
The PARABLE however, deals with what transpires @ the end of the tribulation which is _AFTER_ the rapture of the church. While we certainly should prepare o/selves for meeting Him, the "preparedness" spoken of in this chpt deals with a totally different set of people. *MARANATHA!*
Post your scripture that has Jesus telling us not to worry about the tribulation because we don’t be here. Because there is actually two second comings
@@TheTris2000 I guess I could fire back & say, "What makes you think Christ won't rapture the church before the tribulation?", right? I was kinda scared after reading the chapter, like am I really saved? Will I go to hell because I didn't give food to homeless beggars who hold up signs on street corners? I've never known what to do in situations like that (have always heard different opinions on it) and am always socially awkward. So I've wondered if that discounts my salvation. I know it's not of works we are saved but passages like that scare me.
God didn't give us a spirit of fear! I know what you mean, it's something I struggle with as well. Walk with Jesus. He will guide you. Do your best to listen to The Holy Spirit. Give what you can. Sometimes homeless people don't need money they need love and an ear to listen. Share the gospel with them. Remember, we don't want ANYONE to perish! I know it's difficult, but we are called to step out of our comfort zone so challenge yourself and pray for God to give you courage and the opportunity to do so! If you have extra money buy them food, water, underwear, wipes, toothbrush/toothpaste, etc. We tend to have more than what we need, so we should share with those that need it more! Father God I pray for courage for anyone who receives this prayer. Bless us with your wisdom, Lord. Guide us in our daily walks. Convict us so that we listen to the Holy Spirit you've bestowed upon us. Thank you LORD. In Jesus MIGHTY name, amen!
John 15:1-6,9-10,14 NKJV [1]“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. [2]Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. [3]You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. [4]Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. [5]“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. [6]If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. [9]“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. [10]If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. Not sure if you have found your answer to this yet. If we have a genuine relationship with Jesus, we cannot lose our salvation. Our relationship (faith) is supposed to help motivate us to want to do good things in the world for others
Chapter 25 is NOT a parable. It’s a direct answer to a question. It is exactly what’s going to happen. Many, in other words most, who think they are saved absolutely are not.
You think he’s kidding? He said point blank. Many will come thinking they are saved and they are not. That’s a direct statement in answer to a direct question.
@@Nomad58 That is different from what you initially stated. Granted, when Christ returns @ the 2nd coming (NOT the rapture of the church), then yes...this is what will take place; *=====>* "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:" *Matt **25:31*
I have a quick question, what denomination are y’all? From what I heard you’ve only spoken truth but I just wanna make sure it fully aligns with my church. I’m non denominational
You fail to touch on the fact that believers will be judged but not condemned. When u leave this point out it appears that u are grouping everyone together. There are also two different judgements one for believers and one for non believers. This is very important im not sure how u leave that out. All believers have done things they shouldn’t have but when don’t specify that we won’t be condemned it comes off as if only the perfect will inherit the kingdom which is not the truth.
I suggest you actually read Matthew 25 and it will tell you what you can expect to happen to you if you grow lazy in your faith and fail to do acts of love to your fellow man. You can choose to either cling to your protestant "faith, not works" dogma, or believe all the words of Jesus Christ. But you can't have both at the same time.
Really strange of you to question and challenge your Lord. Could it be that he was imparting Godly advice into earthly concepts so those who are so wicked on this earth might hear in terms we can understand? 🤔
@LetsssGooooooooo my Lord? Your Lord may dabble in the vagaries of the flesh; mine only operates via Spirit. Im not challenging God. I'm challenging you - your ego and the psychological attachment you have to the idea of God. You don't know what God is, you're decieved. You live according to the flesh. You have no real idea that the bible was altered by the devil, do you? The Bible, in English, uses the word God in two different ways. To describe a god of Spirit and to describe a god of flesh. See, flesh is obsessed with control, it is obsessed with desire and power and money. So when you tell me I'm challenging God, all I see is a weak, fleshly being attempting to drag me down. There is no Christian which knows Christ and cannot produce miracles. I know you cannot produce miracles because your tree is not nurtured to produce that kind of fruit. You know nothing of what the bible says, only what the church tells you to think about it. I pity you
That's me. I have no oil and no talents. So I will burn in hell. I have been plagued with poverty from childhood to Adult. I own nothing and have zero retirement. Been riddled with disease and suffering. So I am already in hell. That's why I struggle with the bible. A giant part of it references God like a father. I do not know what that is. Can not relate. Actually I get sick when I hear it. Now these weird scriptures. Don't get it. Those who love the world? Give up your life? Suffer? Carry your cross? Those who love the world? Contradictions
Jesus praised a poor woman for giving just 1 coin to the collection. I notice you are here on the internet commenting on a youtube video, so you don't appear to be so poor to me that you can't give any love to your fellow man. Maybe poor in spirit since you dare question and challenge the word of the Lord. You should also notice that Matthew 25 didn't just say "give money to the poor". Acts of love to your fellow man go far beyond just money.
God bless.
