- Hello guys! This is my 3rd time doing a Tagalog ASMR.
There was constant requests about Tagalog ASMR, but it took me long time to do it.
Please forgive me about it.
I never thought there was enough viewers for my Tagalog contents.
But throughout this days, there were really many requests about Tagalog ASMR.
I am really grateful that you guys like my Tagalog ASMR.
Anyway hoping this ASMR isn't my last Tagalog ASMR, hope you like this video!

i don’t speak tagalog but oh my god tagalog has to be one of the most tingly languages to do asmr in, i noticed there’s a lot of soft “T” and “K” sounds it’s so perfect for asmr 😩

I'm a native and yeah, when being whispered there's a lot of these sharp consonants and a lot of words at certain verb form have repetitive forms, so a lot T, P, B, etc. repeat in one word 🧡 glad she made you sleepy

So, I do not speak Tagalog BUT! some spoken terms are Spanish and I am parically fluent in Spanish so I was able to understand what the sentences were and so I learned Tagalog and slept perfectly. Ah thank you Soy.
It's because the Filipinos were colonized by the Spaniards so some words are in Spanish.
Filipino has Spanish words, but Tagalog does not. People don't understand this. We have Tagalog words for the spanish ones, like: kwarto - silid, eskwelahan - paaralan, estudyante - mag-aaral, silya - upuan, etc.
Erika A.T. yeah but nowadays, many people uses the Spanish version of those words, and mostly use the Tagalog ones for speech and in school ( in my opinion lol)
Yung Tagalog is sobrang mga deep ng words na gigamit sa mga speech for example yung sa mga balagtasan yung Filipino naman is tagalog mixed with some spanish words na ito na yung mostly ginagamit ng mga pilipino dahil sa mga sectors ng words nito tulad nung kolokyal, lalawiganin, balbal, etc

We were colonized by Spaniards for 333 years and so our language and culture are heavily influenced by them

Never trust the internet to teach you Tagalog/Filipino. Most of what they teach you rarely gets used in reality.
Don't worry! It's okay to say words in english because some Filipino words are weird when they are translated so we also use english words a lot
Or spanish. Like numbers and stuff.

I totally get that! I'm italian and for some reason can't stand italian ASMR videos, or at least I feel super weirded out every time ahah but I love listening to Soy speak in Korean, even though I have absolutely NO idea what she is saying. I also don't know Tagalog but I think I grasped a bit of spanish.. you're lovely Soy

i love how she actually uses more Tagalog words than most Tagalog speakers here in the Philippines. a lot of people from Manila, especially younger people or people that are more exposed to English, tend to pick up on English and mix it with Tagalog - and thus, we have TagLish. i myself am not a native Tagalog speaker because i speak a different dialect as my mother tongue - but still, i'm constantly exposed to Tagalog because we have the Filipino subject in school and Filipino culture everywhere else - and Soy honestly speaks better Tagalog than i do XD na-shook nga ako kasi di ko naman alam na marunong siyang mag-Tagalog (at hindi naman talaga ako subscriber). nung nakita ko ang title ng video, naisip ko, "ay, hala, nag-aaral siyang Tagalog? tingnan ko nga to." tapos nang nagsalita na siya, walang bahid ng Korean or American accent! nakakaloka!
(by the way, you should totally try a "relearning Tagalog" or "learning Tagalog slang" video! there's so much we've come up with in the past few years XD)
