When I finished the book I started reading it again and in one of James’ first chapters Will has an entire passage talking about how James shouldn’t keep secrets from Cordelia because secrets poison everything and eventually you’re just alone with your secret. So Cassie literally spelled out the plot of the whole book at the beginning and I didn’t even see it until rereading 😂🤦🏼♀️
Cassie Clare has gotten so much better at writing as she’s delved deeper and deeper into the Shadowhunter universe. I’m proud of her lol.
Underrated moment but is it just me or did anyone else just completely fall on the floor laughing at the reverse mermaid?😂😂 Idk what it is but everytime I think about it I start laughing lmao
I am turning 29 in June and these books have been a part of life since Senior year of High School. No one in my life reads these books which is why I love your booktalks. Even after all these years, I still look forward to your thoughts on The Shadowhunter Chronicles.
Jem / Brother Zachariah playing the violin at James and Cordelia's wedding was EVERYTHING! 😭😭😭 AND that BRACELET drove me insane also..I was totally preoccupied with it the entire book...felt everything you said about that fckn bracelet 100% ....James had to have blue balls 85% of the time 😳....I also believe that James saw the murders because he was given Jesse's last breath @/chainofiron
