I totally get it! My mom has lupas and the drug they think works she can’t have! It took her central vision because the doctors overdosed her with it to help control her Lupas so she and I are staying home! I go walk around my house to get exercise but if I see a person I move to the other end of the road. I won’t risk it. We clean everything! I just pray she never gets it

When the next US Budget is approved, maybe we should set more money aside to build more hospitals and buy medical equipment. It might mean a few less Tomahawk missiles, but I think it would be worth the investment.

So everyone can apply for unemployment, even if you didn't pay in to the program. you are eligible to apply and receive a minimum $600 per week. That's what the big argument was about between the Senate and the house. Hope that explains it for you.
I already didn't pay my bills for this month so I could stock up on food. I have a chronic illness that puts me at risk of death should I contract this virus. I can't go to work to earn and this "stimulus" won't be giving a nickel to us working poor. How many will end up homeless from this situation?? I know the exact feeling you’re describing, and only felt that way once during this current situation but I have had that feeling most of my life, with the sensation of being in a foggy state which I associate with sleep or dreaming. They're screwed pretty much. I live alone and use all of my resources month to month. Luckily I have an angel of a landlord and not worried at the moment. My biggest fear is of running out of food. I'm laid off from my job because of this and have no idea what's next. Just hope for the best....

Strange you did not express concern for people who did not have paychecks to live from, or people who live just above paycheck to paycheck. Just like everyone, it is up to you to take care of yourselves.....and someone less well off than yourselves......of which there are thousands in your own state. I believe , if im not mistaken, that the gov. has put a hold on Utilitie companies shutting off services and landlords and mortgage companies filing legal action. One landlord gave his tenant free rent for a year.
But I must say, some landlords dont care. I was in the hospital once and came home to a vacate notice on my door.

The hypocrisy of the health care workers that charge insane prices for every single item and treatment. Also, I worked in the top hospital in NYS for a year and YES they do turn away patients. I've witnessed many times hospital staff asking the ambulance guys if the patient has insurance. If they said NO, the hospital staff tells the ambulance guy to take the patient to a city hospital.

We're getting to the end of exponential growth. Maybe another 2 weeks until peak. If so, that means we'll go from having seen 5 percent to 50 percent of the total number of cases. That's how exponential growth works: we have so far only seen the first few percent.
