I simply cannot understand where people get the idea of ZNS being a bottom tier map from. Really. @@ryanbollinger1759 in that case it seems u spend more time looking at guides and grabbing parts then playing the game, plus doing those Easter eggs you’re talking about just lets you get OP wonder weapons you can survive to round 100 with anyway so you’re kinda contradicting yourself
@@thicccarteronxbox9930 I’m not contradicting myself at all, I don’t like playing high rounds as it’s too monotonous to me. I run and carry people through Easter eggs and challenge runs. I’m an Easter egg player 100 percent. Also, I don’t need guides anymore. I have all of the information memorized. I haven’t needed a guide for a single Blundell zombies map since I first started playing said map. I would need guides for like 3 days max of playing the map and I got it down. I just like having things to do. I like thinking about how I’m gonna optimize my run and I like speedrunning. I just like the more complex maps and I think they’re better. When I play Cold War maps or WAW maps I just get bored out of my mind because there’s not enough going on for my ADHD brain. If you wanna know my taste in games and what might explain my taste in zombies maps, this is what I like to do: I am a massive fan of the Dark Souls/ FromSoftware games and I have been for a long time. The best first person shooter of all time is Doom Eternal, but Nightmare difficulty is essential so you’re forced to play fast and deal with all of the mechanics and multitude of enemy types. Those are just some opinions, I’m at work and I’ll have more time to explain later. In conclusion, yeah I’m a fan of Treyarch zombies and as the games went on my taste changed to just prefer the more complex and intricate design philosophy of Blundell’s more complex maps.

"Blood of the Dead has 42 bird locations yet its above Dead of the Night" Yes, why? because its 42 POSSIBLE locations, you only have to find 3 of them, this is also for one EE step. Meanwhile Dead of The Night has 3 possible spots for each of its 12 or so parts that are essential for the basics of setup for the map such as Pack a Punch besides the rest of the annoyances of doing the EE or the Side EEs. You can play Blood casually and have a decent time because its not long or hard to set up, just flip two power switches and blast a power panel with the shield (which youll want anyway), meanwhile the same cannot be said for Zetsubou and Dead of The Night.
Preach! And that is just for setup, the rest of the DOTN EE has something like 70-80 more spawn points you need to know in order to solve it. Now don't get me wrong, DOTN isn't horrible, it isn't the worst map of all time like Noah is saying, but it's a very annoying map to play, especially by yourself. It has great atmosphere and it's in all honestly a very nice starting point for the Chaos storyline, if you play the Chaos maps in storyline order. But it just isn't fun to play.
@@matejkovacic9310 Yea, as well they figured out a trick to tell where the bird locations are everytime. If you stand at the gondola at the prison (not the dock location)at the start of the round with your shield out you can actually see the direction the bird is in. So the bird step isnt even that bad by comparison
@@xvoidxhunter2129 Yeah, I saw the Pizza video on that. Admittedly, that only narrows it down, it doesn't give the exact spawn point, but still, going from 42 of them all over the quite large map, to around 3 or 4 at max in a much more localised area is much better. Though apparently the trick with seeing the bird is much more viable in multiplayer lobbies than it is in a solo lobby. You can still see it in the solo lobby, but instead of a well defined bright blue line across the screen, it shows up as a much smaller line and for a shorter time as well which makes it very likely for a solo player to miss it and being back to just guessing where the bird is. So, I guess it's a mixed biag right now on that front. Honestly, I quite like both Blood and DOTN, I'm just annoyed how people make up excuses for DOTN and it's ridicoulus number of spawn points by bringing up things like atmosphere and visuals, both of which Blood also has to that high standard, and to add to that Blood now has a way for you to massively narrow down the possible spawn points and I'm just left irritated at DOTN for no reason...
Will probably just missed how his family used to be, cause it’s been completely dismantled, his wife, his kids. His relationship with his children has definitely been affected and maybe he just wants that back.

I used to grind blood of the dead high rounds, never got far but I did notice one thing, everytime the PAP moves, lightning strikes where it moved to once it appears there
I liturally would piss on everyone who said origins is overrated . When they would come home from school and liturally play that map like it was the last thing they could do before they died. Gameplay is amazing . Staffs were like the best original idea to have been added to this map . Liturally a masterpiece.
It's good but not the best. SoE, DE, Mob, Ancient Evil, and maybe Buried, Zet, Spaceland, and GK are better imo. Staffs are cool but half of them suck, not a huge fan of the layout, mud really ruins it for me. I still like it, but I never boot it up unless someone else wants to run it. Panzer is one of the best boss zombies though, absolutely terrifying.
Treyarch employee shows his PowerPoint for the alpha omega cutscenes everyone else in the room- I love it just the way it is we don’t need to make a good cutscene just leave it the way it is
I love Origins because the EE songs are both absolute bangers. Ace of Spades is amazing too and Dead Ended is pretty good but Shepherd of Fire and specifically Archangel are on my everyday playlist. Only gripe I have with the origins EE is the step having to wait and place the staffs in each robot, unless you know how to do the self med glitch, but you NEED all 3 self med charges to do it. Other than that having to deal with the Templar zombies destroying a generator and most times in on the other side of the map entirely and the fact there’s no boss fight kinda sucked
13:22 “It feels like they just threw zombies in the map and said, ‘Have fun!’” Bruh, that was literally the point. It was new and they needed something to show for it 😂🤦♂️
Zetsubou gets royally shit on every single time. It is literally at the very least a good map. It has something for every player and the quest is pretty satisfying. The boss fight is donkey balls but still the quest isn’t hard and the specialist is sick. It has cool visuals and a cool wonder weapon and a new swimming mechanic. It’s a sick map
This was interesting. He has a lot of good points, but a lot of the placements don’t make that much sense to me if he’s talking purely about gameplay. Like all of the WaW map placements (except for Der Riese) are weird to me
I also wish they put the pentagon thief in classified but after watching lore videos you learn that if yuri was in classified it would’ve broken the timeline
I really think modded CotD has skewed lex’s view of the map. Like Noah said, a map isn’t good if the only way to enjoy it is with mods. Not that CotD is a bad map, but I just think Lex is severely overvaluing it.

Tag der Toten is my favorite map of all time so I get it, Im biased, but there is NO reason for Tag to be worse than so many of these maps.
trash
I hate the map personally, awful wonder weapons, just a worse call of the dead, and a terrible end to BO4
I respect it so no hate but you’re the first person I’ve ever heard say that and am trying to understand How lol
The wonder weapons should've been better, and it was a disappointing end to the game, but i also very much like the map. Its visually beautiful, it has a very great atmosphere and is very chill (no pun intended) to play and do all the side quests.
Tag is a better CotD, but it is a really lackluster final map
Funny story I didn’t play zombies until after BO2 had been out for a while. I did not have the nerve to even open the game mode. Went to my uncles one weekend and he put me on kino der toten for the first time. It was late all the lights were off he left me there by myself for the first 30 minutes. Man was I terrified but I was hooked. I probably didn’t make it past round 7 for a week lol. However my friends had BO2 and I played it for the first time a few months after my first zombies experience. Dude I thought perks were a brand new thing in BO2😅 never once noticed any perk machine in kino other than quick revive. Until we put my copy of BO1 in later that night and my friends all thought I was an idiot. It was a different time though and I didn’t even have internet in my area at all.
could you imagin if the kracken on voyage was like the marstagwa wonder weapon people would have loved that
the jumpscare near the end blew my freaking socks off. I was like 5 minutes from dozing off and BOOM! WAKE UP WAKE UP!
At this point lex should make a tier list tier list
1:45:19 literally had me jumping out of my bed.
dozing off with this damn near gave me a heart attack
Moons astronaut fucking terrified me the first few times i played.
It’s completely silent
Steals a fucking perk
And puts you in a one hit down state
That is some scary ass shit.
I love how Lex suddenly seems to dislike Voyage more then Blood
I just used to love Shi No Numa because I loved the arisaka and to this day it is my favorite beginning weapon in all of cod imo
Dead of the Night is a phenomenal map, people do it so dirty man.
Lex, here’s a new video idea! Make a defense vid for Dead of the Night!
DOTN is in my top 5, absolutely love that map
As someone who likes to kill zombies and not solve rubix cubes I heavily disagree, plus verrukt is top 5
@@thicccarteronxbox9930 I’m someone that likes to think when I play zombies, I can’t play the old games anymore like I used to because they’re too simple. I get bored by round 15 because I feel like I’ve long done everything in the map by then and by that point it’s just running in circles
If you wanna know my taste in games and what might explain my taste in zombies maps, this is what I like to do:
I am a massive fan of the Dark Souls/ FromSoftware games and I have been for a long time.
It's wild how an on disc map is the greatest. Kino really is revolutionary
36:00 I remember when lex would try to hunt for the EE before anyone got to round 150 and he was just ripping his hair out grasping at straws that aren’t there BECAUSE THERE IS NO EASTER EGG
Lex: Chat in my honest opinion Gee Kay has 0 flaws
Ch0pper: the only real downside to this map in my opinion would be the Valkyrie drones
Lex: I agree chat, I agree
I’m in my bed and I’m getting tired…

1:45:20 woke me up in the middle of the night and made me freak out.

@@owenhill144 Die rise is a good map
"Blood of the Dead has 42 bird locations yet its above Dead of the Night"
Yes, why? because its 42 POSSIBLE locations, you only have to find 3 of them, this is also for one EE step.
This tier list is on par with noah.
The music for shadows of evil hits the perfect spot like no other map. Except maybe buried and mob.
Will probably just missed how his family used to be, cause it’s been completely dismantled, his wife, his kids. His relationship with his children has definitely been affected and maybe he just wants that back.
Dead of the Night is criminally slept on
@@smugplush True, it'd be better if it was on BO3 but still i think its the best BO4 has to offer (not that it has much to offer anyway)
Maur is underrated 🔥
@@magicm953 well BO4 sucks do no surprise that people hate it, the map itself isn’t bad but the game mechanics sucks in that game which hurts the map so much
I’m a oh lover of every zombies but die machine was the best interpretation of nacht we have ever had, it gave us a decent backstory and a lot more of the area too play with that acc felt like nacht in the future
Og lover*
I played the shit out of classified at launch. I don’t know why, I just found IX kinda boring after a while. It was super fun at launch but got tiring quick but classified stayed fun. Ultimus was fun and I like the winters howl more then the scorpion gun 💀
Scorpion gun is one of the only bad things about IX. Such a boring weapon. Not interesting visually, and not that interesting either.

@@dutchvanderlinde248 Yeah, it was pure garbage, only killed a couple zombies per charge shot and fell off so hard after r50.
cod zombies is older than most of the player base
Bro kino is so good, because of how simple it is, you just hop on and play and kill Zombies, you don’t need to worry about anything and just have fun
If I see one more person complain about the gameplay of zetsubo but then praise origins I’m gonna lose my mind. ZNS is amazing. Top 10 all time. Community is TRIPPING
My first zombies experience was Transit and Nuke town. This thankfully didn’t push me away from zombies
Bro I was legit napping while listening to pass time and that alarm at the end terrified me.
21:39 this makes me realize that Blundell was probably planning on this being his next Mob of the Dead. Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn
I understand the lore but the way I cope with the Great War map is I ignore that origins was the beginning of primis, and it’s head cannon that origins was the Great War map.
DOTN is at least a B Tier Map. People shit on it and it deserves better.
Like most bo4 maps... people hate them, cuz its bo4
@@sebazosiedla7251 Alpha omega and Voyage are the only bad maps on Bo4.

Tag dear Toten “a lot of things to gather and fetch quest map”. What are you on about Chopper?? What are you picking up, shield, dynamite, heat pack and if your doing the EE then 3 random parts. That’s it very little so are you playing the right map
I can’t take this vid serious when chaos is saying “Best zombies map of all time, kino der toten black ops 1” every god damn second
Dead of the night is the most underrated zombies map
When you give treyarch the development time they need, they make incredible maps
That wake up at the end GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK
I used to grind blood of the dead high rounds, never got far but I did notice one thing, everytime the PAP moves, lightning strikes where it moved to once it appears there
Talking about Die Rise: "Here's a really big sandbox with things you can use."
OKAY THEN WHERE IS PHD? IT LITERALLY WOULD'VE MADE THE MAP 10X BETTER
I liturally would piss on everyone who said origins is overrated . When they would come home from school and liturally play that map like it was the last thing they could do before they died. Gameplay is amazing . Staffs were like the best original idea to have been added to this map . Liturally a masterpiece.
I like it but for me SOE #1
Yep, you're definitely delusional. Name fits
@@MrFusion yes
Overrated because of nostalgia, like you proved lol.
I read the title and thought "What makes it a Bruh Tier List"
Me seeing "Ch0pper": Ahhh, I see THATS why.
Treyarch employee shows his PowerPoint for the alpha omega cutscenes everyone else in the room- I love it just the way it is we don’t need to make a good cutscene just leave it the way it is
Coming in at the #1 spot: Terra Maledicta
are we gonna ignore 14:57 when the guy replaced his raygun for the EXPENSIVE PELLET SNIPER
I think people hate it because it's harder than most maps, although that's why I love it
@@MrFusion yes, it also has black ops 4 syndrome: hated on because of bandwagoning
This was interesting. He has a lot of good points, but a lot of the placements don’t make that much sense to me if he’s talking purely about gameplay. Like all of the WaW map placements (except for Der Riese) are weird to me
Chopper: list is based on gameplay not nostalgia
Lex: ok got you
theres no way chat 1 if you disagree
I also wish they put the pentagon thief in classified but after watching lore videos you learn that if yuri was in classified it would’ve broken the timeline
Lex for the first 20 minutes was just WHERES VOYAGE AHHHHHH
After careful examination of this video I have come to the conclusion that lex may not like voyage of despair
I did the math when I was trying to do DOTN, there's over a hundred spawn locations in total for everything
My first zombies experience was transit and I actually loved it ik it's not the best but for me it's up there😂😂😭
Bro I took my headphones off that were on full volume like 10 minutes before than 100 bomb. So glad I did
Tag 3rd worst? That is criminally cap
I really think modded CotD has skewed lex’s view of the map.
Like Noah said, a map isn’t good if the only way to enjoy it is with mods.
Not that CotD is a bad map, but I just think Lex is severely overvaluing it.
cotd with Romero sucks
I just realized that technically cod zombies is going through puberty
tranzit was my first experience. but my cousin got me black ops 1 and i played that instead until dlcs came out

Dead ops always getting forgotten, sadge🥺
The best zombies map of all time: Kino Der Toten, Black Ops 1.
"To me it gets as good as it gets"
Maur is underrated 🔥
In my opinion what kills most bo4 maps is the gameplay functions like the terrible guns, disgusting perk system, and in the instance of of aether the bad story. If these maps were on the bo3 system they would be much better.
