Nick you did great for your first time! I personally am a photographer so I know how it is. But as usual, you did great with your content. Always looking forward to seeing your next video. Also I wish you the best of luck learning how to use your new camera you'll get used to it, I promise.
just a lurker. a6700 is probably the best choice. :) the autofocus is really nice on these sony bodies. im sure you've got the hang of it now. also been finding these videos somehow therapeutic and i have absolutely zero idea why 😆
Nic thats an awesome camera. I do a lot with cameras in my private time. Everyone screws up the camera settings sometimes. That's human nature. 7:46 is the only place where the settings didn't work for me. You did a great job Nic. Hats off ^^ (And much love from Germany xD)
Yo nick awesome video bud. It was amazing i loved it. I also liked how it automatically started and i like how you cut the in the power fuse and i also like how you start it from the app too. Nice video bud keep up the good and amazing work bud. I'm am very grateful for seeing this video. Take care bud. 👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎
That's impressive I'm surprised you could notice that. The new camera is definitely sharper and gives better depth. However the stabilization does not compare to iPhone.
@@nics-systems-electric get a Generac generator you can run it off of diesel natural gas, propane, and diesel use natural gas and put it in the generator building and have the fan set on automatic on and automatic off
Nice vid as always! This is gonna get allota views, bc alot of people search for generators and backup generators ! Also, what camera are you using? Picture looks amazing! You can really see how dark it really is, unlike on iphone. Nice upgrade!
Yes I've said that in most videos of the generator that it's a plan to possibly do that but might not happen as I will have to take the entire transfer switch out most likely so it might not be worth it as I can just pull the fuse
Awesome new video! About halfway through. Generator test series fun to see and I found your workflow / explanations quite interesting. What camera did you buy? It looks really good. Is it like a DSLR that can record video?
Hey Man I like the camera :D I have a question: The "Input" Damper will open always 90° when the generator is running... Incase off Heavy Rain and a loss of Utility Power they will open and plus the fan will suck in alot of Rainwater. (Atleast in my theory) Wouldn't it be better to just open them 45° to "block" most of the Rain?
It never has been a problem the last time there was a real power outage it was very rainy and and I think because it is under the roof of the garage it doesn't get the rain in it

It's not a smoke alarm like in residential. it's smoke detectors for a commercial system. heat detector and smoke detector.the generator should not be producing smoke.
@@nics-systems-electric oh wow that’s actually amazing. I’ve been wanting to get into systems and embedded hardware more. I’ve always enjoyed things like lighting, fire alarms, electric and all of that. Cool!

Just got out on lunch, and Nic posted. Hell yeah. Great videos man, super informative, and entertaining as hell.
Thanks man I appreciate it

Great video Nick. Your new camera really produces a very clear and sharp looking video. Good choice.
I love the quality boost. Awesome video per usual.
The new camera is pretty sweet. I'm jealous every time I see your generator run too.

Immediately noticed the new camera before you even mentioned it. Looks a lot better.

@@nics-systems-electric I think it's mostly the framing and depth of field changes. For the shots on a tripod it's definitely better.

Thanks I can hope so unfortunately it seems like the generator stuff doesn't do very well but I will keep making them as some people do like it
NOTE: A typical generator set cooldown period is approximately 10 minutes, but can vary by engine type and manufacturer
All the ones I've worked on the controller has been programmed for 2 to 5 minutes but I'm sure some are longer
Good job with the camera nic
You should add some sort of testing switch to interrupt that 120v fused line. Maybe some sort of key switch?

Thanks. It's a sony a6700
Wow! Pricey little bugger! 😂
At my school we had a fire drill but the principal said the fire alarms are not working
I like your brand new camera set up for your channel
I didn't buy it for the UA-cam channel but for other hobbies but I will likely use it on many of the videos that are at home
Will there be a video today yes or no

Is there a breaker in your house for the garage subpanel? If so, have you tried tripping that breaker to start the generator?
Yes I've done that before in videos however it will do the exact same thing that I showed in this video
