【4K】 Zeche Zollverein | Walking At The UNESCO World Heritage Site Of The Old Coal Industrial Complex

- A comfy and relaxing morning walk around Zeche Zollverein, located in Essen in North Rhine Westphalia / Germany. Starting at the gigantic ovens of the former coking plant we will walk around the area of this old industrial complex which was shut down between the late 80s and early 90s and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is nearly completely open to the public to explore. We then continue through a small forest to the actual Zollverein coal mine with its prominent winding tower above shaft XII and the attached museum halls. After that we cross a metal bridge on which the mining cars used to run to the shaft 1/2/8 where we will end our little tour.
