It's interesting that the reason you decided to choose memory style was mainly to make the level as intimidating as possible. I always thought the idea of limbo stemmed from being a memory level, but it's interesting that that wasn't really the case, and it makes sense in terms of return 0 as well. Really cool video

Exploring the level itself, finding the little secrets, the adventure of the level itself, and what makes the level stand out from the rest. You made a huge risk in creating an extreme demon that no one has ever seen, and you and everyone else nailed it out of the park. This level is a GREAT example of pulling off a fun, amazing Top 10. As well as a level to remember. Congrats on making this masterpiece!

@@Sevant How. It's just a generic "test all skills" level, not memory or even memory based. 10s of memory gameplay in a 2 minutes level doesn't justify it as a "memory level that's harder than a 3 minutes level full of memory based gameplay".

When 2.2 releases with the random trigger, the game is going to change so much! Randomisation in gameplay will be easily accessible to everyone. You could have randomised orbs, randomised spike jumps, maybe even randomised gamemodes on an easier level!
limbo is as much GD history as... sliced bread? your level is unique and groundbreaking, releasing at a dark time between 2.1 and (2.2?) even though i am definitely not skilled enough to dream of completing this level, i still respect the work and dedication required to make something like this.
i wish there were more people like me. you lose the battle before it even starts, why not try to learn the level? I'm probably not going to beat it, but i have the whole thing in 10 runs!

I have an obsession with this level. Ever since I learned of it, it has been at the top of my head, just waiting for me to try it. This level is amazing. From the gameplay to the deco to the gimmicks, it's all awesome. Great job.
Limbo is actually an amazing level to play, even learning the level was a really great experience and its like one of the first times I've actually like thoroughly started to enjoy the game again in a long while.
this was really cool! i'm glad you added an explanation of the finale so people like me could understand it. been working on a remake of the finale myself and was wondering why the basic randomizer gd colon made wasn't as random as i'd have liked.
I love how innovative and unique this level is. Instead of just being the usual top demon with tight ship, wave and timings, Limbo focuses on completely different skills that most top players are not so comfortable with, especially the key maze, it requires skills that no other top demon will test you on. Limbo is easily one of the best levels ever created and I hope it inspires more creators to think outside the box like Mindcap did and build more original, unique and never seen before styles of levels to bring more variety to the game.

This is the best geometry dash video I’ve ever seen in terms of story telling. Usually they feel like summoning salt clones or boring. This was amazing to watch great job!!!!
To tackle this level, see how the verifier does it, then modify the level to remove the overdecoration and memorise that. Given this level is out now, there likely are layouts you can download that do this. I of course am referring to the majority of the level, not the final part.

This is why Geometry Dash is still alive, because of the amazing levels that the community does (excluding recent tab levels), this type of levels are inspiring lots of players and creators to play the game, that is why I love this community
putting aside nostalgia, progression in the community and legacy, i think LIMBO may very well be the best level in the entire game. taking a concept that's difficult to understand with an ending that's entirely skill-based and can't be relied on with muscle memory is absolutely incredible. I used to say levels like zodiac were the best because they're so accessible despite being hard, or levels like brainfugd were the best because of how much they pushed the game's limitations, but i think this is my new answer. you did an incredible job on this, and it really shows. let's hope your next projects don't fall in the shadow of LIMBO.
