Really? the best you can do?!? How about: let's analyse defence a bit; pass-rush, position players, bit more penetrating analysis ... lame show!
AG's head coaching stock is going down. He did great for a while, but it feels like the wheels have come off the defense, yet again--particularly in the secondary, which is his forte as a former pro bowler. But the other thing, is that his unit has brought a lot of penalties on itself, in particular Brian Branch. That's on the player, but it's also on the coach. The Lions have a tall task ahead of them here, short week tough opponent. And they haven't been really great at home. If only they hadn't dropped that stupid game against the Buccs.
I don't know. They held SF in the second half to 13 pts with 5 starters out. Give me Hutch, Alim, Anzalone, Barnes, Carlton, not to mention Davenport and Arnold sick with flu and see how Lions D would perform.
