I'm not sure what you're referring to with 'regular printer?' I'm screen printing with vinyl, so you would need a vinyl cutter. I'm using Silhouette Pro. You can use a regular InkJet printer to print and burn the film negatives onto a standard screen with emulsion. Both printing styles (vinyl and emulsion) can be printed on a regular rotary press or line table. I'm just using a mobile single platen that we made. Hope one of those answers helps!
