I just happened to see this video on the NAA Pug. I bought one at a show about 7 years ago. I absolutely love it, and shoot it often. Once you do a few re-loadings, you get smoother in the process. Also, it was good to see you mention the safety notches. I even put a Crimson Trace laser grip on it, that makes it even more fun to shoot. I got a couple holsters for mine too, and had to laugh at the dog hair in yours. I actually have a Pug dog (partially why I bought this revolver), and his hair is in everything I own. When NAA later came out with the Sidewinder model that you can switch cylinders to shoot .22 mag or .22LR, I got one of those, too. These mini revolvers are very high quality, and make excellent carry handguns when you really want to conceal it. Thanks for the review!
Thanks for the comment! Yep, we have dog hairs ALL OVER the place, so it's not uncommon at all for me to find them here and there and everywhere. I've been eyeballing a Sidewinder or Ranger II actually, hope to pick one up this coming year. Thanks for watching and be safe out there!
I own a NAA Black Widow. I like it alot and consider it a well made handgun. It has the same safety notches as the pug and I have no issues carrying it. Thank you for your video.
I need to get in the habit of carrying my Black Widow always, even when I am at home. Away from home, I carry a 9mm, .40, or .45. Wouldn't mind having a Pug, also.
I have two of these things, both in 22 mag. I don’t have big hands, by any means, but just thought the 22LR versions were a little too small to be able to grab and shoot in a reasonable amount of time. The mag versions, though, are just big enough to handle and shoot fairly well and you can have a gun on you, all the time. I bought one of Wendy’s holsters for both of mine, the Pug and the 1-5/8” barrel mag versions.
Ive been looking at these for years and finally just bought a 22wmr/22lr model with a slightly different bead sight instead of the blade and a ported 1 1/8” barrel. Also picked up the same style of leather holster.
I'd like to see a shroud on both sides behind cylinder...for the little weight it would add I would feel better having those exposed shell heads covered.
Howdy Rob, I've owned quite a few of them and always liked them. If you have bigger hands be sure to get one of the ones with a bigger grip. Thats why I like this PUG, that rubber grip is easy to hold onto. They are very well made and fun to shoot. Thanks for watching!
