Here's an analogy to explain the difference between relative truth and ultimate truth: Imagine you are in bed, having a dream where you are walking across a vast desert. In the dream, the heat feels intense, the sand is harsh, and the journey feels endless. But then, you hear my voice in your head saying, "You're dreaming! There is no desert." From your perspective within the dream, the desert and everything you experience are the only reality you know-this is your relative truth. However, from my perspective outside the dream, I know that you are dreaming and the desert isn't real. This is the ultimate truth. So, while within the dream the desert feels entirely real (relative truth), the ultimate truth is that there is no desert at all. The challenge lies in understanding that what seems absolutely real in the dream (relative truth) is, in fact, an illusion when viewed from a higher perspective (ultimate truth). dream within a dream. --- “when you’re in a dream, you can never remember the beginning” from the movie Inception”
May I never seek for an end of suffering for Myself. May I become a real mere Bodhisattva
