- Nouman Ali Khan is a Pakistani-American Islamic speaker and Arabic instructor who founded the Bayyinah Institute for Arabic and Qur’anic Studies after serving as an instructor of Arabic at Nassau Community College. He has been named one of the 500 most influential Muslims in the world by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre of Jordan.
This is his latest lecture delivered in Doha, Qatar
A very good inspiring lecture. Now, we realise the significance of Allah's saying in the Holy Qur'an that had He wanted all people could have been made obedient, the Muslims. But actually a few percent of the vast humanity has followed the teachings of the Prophet and embraced Islam. The importance lies in the fact that Allah wants to test, to distinguish the righteous from the wrongdoers and the infinite rewards are made available in the paradise for overcoming the tough challenges.

There are two kinds of sortiing out. One believers from unbeliers. The second one grateful and ungrateful from the believers. When we are truly grateful it can encampass so much in it. Allah's main complaint is that we are generally ungrateful.
