Well.. the actual issue was whether or not it was justified for Ross to sleep with someone else(that very night) even if they were on a break (not saying that they were!).. "we were on a break" just became Ross's cover up for that.. and that is exactly what grandma resolves over here.. she says.. "Rachael did not end things with him."
So there is no way Ross can use it as an excuse to defend himself.. 😌
