You did a good job striping the front end out, I had the same problem with my 1991 LMC Luxus , very similar to your German built van with the door on the opposite side and stippled bodywork, with lots of TLC we managed to renovate it to a good standard. It has served us very well over the last few years and have no doubt it will serve us well for many years to come. It gets so much attention on our UK sites we visit it makes us feel quite proud that we rescued it from what would have been the end. I'm sure your lovely family will enjoy the caravan for many years years to come.
Good work fellow "Tailerite!" I have four vintage travel trailer my self and your project reminds of my 1967 Scotsman not the Scotty Camper! Do you have a Tin Can Tourist R.V club over there I think the English or Canadians are the only ones that call their campers caravan! So anyway good job like it!
This is Soooo Good!! I'm gonna be doing a similar thing in a few months time - once (IF) the weather in the UK brightens up - and this gave me so many tips. I hope you and the kids make some very happy memories in it :)
IM GOING TO BUY ONE FROM A GUY THAT WAS GOING TO JUNK IT IF I DO I WOULD HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME WITH SOME POINTERS. MY NAME IS FRAN THIS IS MY EMAIL. HOPE IM NOT BEING TO FORWARD I KNOW IM GOING TO NEED THE HELP THANK YOU. PLEASE HIT ME UP
