Looks great Tim! Love that purple! That's the color I'm using on the '37 Ford pickup that I'm doing the buddy build with Don@DonzTattoozGarage. Can't wait to see it finished!! Thanks for sharing!
Tim, what a sweet build! Curious of what paint you used on the wing. Loved the front end. Stripping chrome and developing a contrast really made it pop. Your torn decals made me uneasy, I'm building my first Nascar and it's an older Monogram kit. My decals are old and questionable. Just like my abilities to get them down. Looking forward to your next update.
Hey Danny. Thanks for watching. I used Tamiya TS-17 Gloss Aluminum sprayed over black primer. That darkened it up just a touch and gave it a bit of depth (I think). If you are not familiar with Mikes Decals, check them out. www.mikesdecals.com. They have a huge selection of NASCAR decals. I picked up a set for the Richard Petty Belvedere from Jo-Han...great stuff and decent prices. Thanks again for watching and commenting Danny.
Nice looking build. Love the color.

Thanks Vinny. Even though the tears in the decals were "jagged", they only ended up in two pieces so I was able to recover.
