- Amongst heavy rain showers the sugar beet campaign in East Anglia is firing on all cylinders, with high yields and good sugar content... Here a Vervaet Q616 Harvester is lifting beet at some speed with a JCB Fastrac iCON and John Deere 6250R carting, both new this year. The star of the show however is the rather unique Ex-Vervaet 625 Beet Eater repurposed by J Riley Agri as a Vervaet 25 Beet Chaser. Designed to shift beet off the field when conditions make conventional trailer setups struggle!

It sure is, can shift some serious tonnage with it. May be small but I’m sure it was better than lifting it by hand 😁

I think the first chaser like that is from 2018 or 19. Now life for those "old" Beeteaters
