Have you ever been in Maastricht carnaval? I really can not explain how good it is but from the winter carnival I 've seen, Maastricht far away is the best one. watch the videos you can feel it in some way.
People really prepare themself for winter carnival in Maastricht. sometimes you can see they might spend a full day for make up or the clothes they wear.
In Maastricht carnival you see a lot of performances during the evening. It is a different feeling watching a performance when every where is dark in real. mostly we watch performance during the day when every where is totally clear but in darkness there is another wipe you can feel it with watching this video.
